Looks like possible compromise by Allawi In the interest of Iraq to form GOI.

Oops posted in wrong spot but here it is. Kudos to fishbone on this find. Looks like Allawi made be bending in order to form GOI in the interest of Iraq.

Now I am confused. Just yesterday Iyad Allawi's bloc says it no longer insists on the post of prime minister.

I hope this news story is not true in which I believe Maliki's is now considered the one for the PM. (hopefully).

Good find, now he wants to be president but the Kurds have already been promised that position. I guess now that are going to have meetings about that for the next 7 months.

I just hope someone (the blocs) all come to some sort of an agreement before civil unrest is started to protest this long and unnecessary delay in forming the government. This is only the beginning of conflicting news I suspect. God Bless and take care.
