On a solid report from Baghdad Maliki has reportedly promised the Kurds MORE than the 19 demands they wanted. The other unknown items promised over and above the 19 required is unknown at this time. Barzani called a deligation from the Iraqi List to the Kurdish Region to meet with him TODAY to discuss important items of concern. The outcome of that meeting has not been released yet either. Allawi has told Barzani he would agree to any mechanizism of GOI that held Maliki to share power as not to be the single source of decisions in the new GOI. Allawi is willing to bend for the formation of the new GOI. Barzani said we MUST WORK ON OUR ALLIANCE TO FORM THE GOI POSSIBLY TO FORM IN THE NEXT TWO WEEKS as days of stagnation of the GOI MUST end crisis.

It's really looking like something will give soon. I will have more later.

What do you think about the contracts all expiring by the end of october and that pissing off china? Seems to me that will either get the gov formed this wk or delay the process longer since china is so heavialy invested in Iraq and making them mad is not good...........Whats your take Viper51????
