markb57
stopped buying XRP at 15000. Sold my shib a couple years ago. Didn't believe in it anymore. Hopefully, XRP/XLM explodes 1

screwball
It is that several pieces of payment, custody, regulated stablecoin and Asian financial infrastructure that are being assembled simultaneously. 1. Japan is becoming much more important. SHIB now has broader regulated access in Japan; reports indicate it is on the JVCEA Green List and was handled by nine member exchanges as of 1 September. At the same time, SBI has launched its JPYSC yen stablecoin and is now investing part of JPYSC's backing assets in Japanese government bonds. That matters to our hypothesis because SBI is simultaneously distributing RLUSD in Japan, following Japanese regulatory approval. So the Japanese infrastructure is beginning to resemble: JPY → JPYSC → digital-asset ecosystem → RLUSD/XRPL → international settlement SHIB isn't proven to be part of that chain. But it is increasingly sitting inside the same regulated digital-asset environment. 2. Korea is the other side of the equation. SBI Ripple Asia and Korean blockchain infrastructure company DSRV are officially studying a Japan–Korea blockchain remittance/payment system, specifically considering XRPL. Importantly, they are examining how blockchain connects with existing payment infrastructure and stablecoins. And something important happened in August: Ripple announced that Jeonbuk Bank is deploying Ripple Payments for Korean cross-border payments. That moves Korea from research toward actual banking deployment. Then SHIB itself gets interesting The official Shiba ecosystem now has SHIB Pay, designed for both websites and physical point-of-sale terminals. It is permissionless/self-custodial and specifically designed for merchant crypto acceptance. More importantly, the technical documentation now contains an actual Crypto Payment API, and merchants are being manually onboarded by the Shiba Inu team. That is considerably more significant to me than another burn-rate headline. It means SHIB is building something that could genuinely function as a consumer/merchant transaction layer. And that fits remarkably well with the architecture we've been discussing: consumer/merchant → SHIB/Shibarium/SHIB Pay → stablecoin/liquidity layer → institutional settlement The last step does not currently prove XRP/XRPL integration. That's the missing link. The UAE piece shouldn't be ignored The official Shiba Inu site still describes its partnership with the UAE Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure as integrating ShibOS across the Emirates for government/infrastructure applications. So we now have three geographic pieces that keep recurring in our work: Japan — regulated crypto + JPYSC + RLUSD + SBI South Korea — huge retail crypto market + DSRV/SBI research + Ripple banking deployment UAE — government-level ShibOS relationship That geographical overlap is becoming harder to dismiss as merely SHIB marketing. But the whales are giving us a warning This is where I would not get carried away. A dormant whale moved 407.99 billion SHIB to BitGo after roughly three years of inactivity. The same routing mechanism was used by another whale moving about 600 billion SHIB to BitGo shortly beforehand. That's roughly 1.008 trillion SHIB across those two movements. Meanwhile Korean-market reporting collected by Upbit shows substantial exchange movements: 168.1B SHIB flowed onto exchanges in 24 hours around 7 September, while futures open interest had risen about 19.28% to 10.74T SHIB around 6 September. So there is clearly positioning and liquidity movement going on. But I wouldn't automatically call those BitGo movements "selling." BitGo is institutional custody infrastructure. The important question is what happens after SHIB reaches BitGo. That's exactly why tracking the downstream wallets matters. And our OKX observation is still important The repeated OKX 154 → 153 ~100–150B SHIB transfers we identified look much more like systematic exchange liquidity management than random whale activity. Put that beside the BitGo movements and Korea exchange flows and I see a broader theme: SHIB liquidity is being reorganised. That can happen before either a large sell event or before exchanges/custodians prepare liquidity for increased trading/payment demand. We don't yet have enough evidence to distinguish the two confidently. One signal I would discount There are headlines saying Shibarium transactions jumped 122%, from 786 to 1,750 daily transactions. But the explorer was only about 51% reindexed, so I would not use that as evidence of genuine adoption yet. I see SHib is being retail across Japan and South Korea and XRpbeing the cross border rails... Also Shib and Doge are the only two green listed meme coins in Japan and South Korea...
screwball
I am monitoring using several Ai to monitor exchange transactions and this highlighted systematic exchange liquidity management than random whale activity. screwball
this is what I am watching..... Confirmed flow: 355.27B SHIB: Coinone hot wallet → receiving wallet 4.29B + 1.5B SHIB: additional receipts Total accumulated: approximately 361B SHIB Small outgoing tests subsequently went to Upbit and Korbit The main 361B balance had not been redistributed when reported. Assessment: this does not yet resemble a simple retail whale moving SHIB into cold storage. Testing deposit routes to Coinone, Upbit and Korbit points more strongly toward: A Korean market-maker or professional trading firm A cross-exchange arbitrage/liquidity wallet An institutional custodian serving Korean exchanges Less likely, an individual whale preparing multiple exchange exit routes It remains mildly bullish while the 361B stays off-exchange, but the Upbit/Korbit tests mean the SHIB could be redeployed rapidly. The critical trigger is any sizeable follow-on transfer from this wallet to those exchanges.
screwball
this is what I am tracking The 361B wallet is interesting because it: Received most of its SHIB from Coinone. Tested routes to Upbit and Korbit. Retained the main inventory. Holds other substantial assets, consistent with a diversified professional liquidity account. That behaviour is compatible with a central liquidity hub testing multiple Korean exchange gateways. It is not proof, because market makers and arbitrage firms behave similarly. The decisive evidence would be repeated cycles such as: Wallet receives large SHIB batches from one exchange. It sends small test deposits to several exchanges. Larger amounts follow when venue liquidity changes. Stablecoins, ETH or XRP move in the opposite direction. Transfers correlate with Korean trading hours, customer demand or payment activity. If those reciprocal flows appear—especially SHIB outward toward retail venues and XRP/stablecoins returning as settlement assets—your nostro/vostro analogy becomes substantially stronger. The important signal is not merely how much SHIB exchanges hold, but whether that inventory is being systematically replenished and rebalanced across venues. Japan and Korea are key...thats why I like it

There is not a lot of info out there on Shib Inu and the little I find , is not real encouraging. I am not that worried seeing as how it's so cheap and the investment commitment is minimal. Do you have a go to source on this you can suggest? what do you think the potential is here.....? is it more a long term thing.....? just trying to catch up

I know 170 trillion is sitting in institutional wallets not whale wallets....

screwball
okay so lets update on XRP.... 90 hours to go until DTCC moves to Ripple for all internal transactions with in the USA, this include FEDNOW... What does this mean.. well if you follow the former CTO who said in recent podcast that he expects xrp to rise fast, very fast and his x posts over the weekend which were quite cryptic he posted a pic with moon jelly fish some say hinting at the "moon" for xrp and there was also another post where he referenced a band singing "Felix navidad" " i want to wish you a merry christmas" and the band was to hire at 850 per hour some are saying that he is telling us that it will go up very fast and a rate of 850$ per hour!!! Lets so what happens but he did say on podcast that it will go up very high and fast, now remember this was designed to be very expensive! 90 hours ago......unless theres delays...we are talking trillions of dollars
