About the lack of green areas in modern cities...Only buildings, smog, bad air quality, sirens moaning instead of humming birds etc..... and the bad feeling and sadness as a consequence....

 

He sings  " It's best to flee and never come back ( to the big city)....."

 

Likely the first (or one of the very first...)  Italian environment-oriented song ever ( that I know of at least...) in the pop genre....Years before  there had been another one but not really pop.........
