US crude imports from Venezuela rose from roughly 99,000 barrels per day in December to about 284,000 in January, a near-triple inside one quarter. Iraq is still waiting for the rate to change, complete a few additional steps and tasks, then they can join the WTO. 6-5-2026 Thom A government exists. It's operational on 14 of 23 ministries. The two that determine whether Iraq actually gets control of its weapons — Defense and Interior — are still being fought over by Washington, Tehran, and the militias themselves.
