Sudani and the COM have already passed the PMF Law and are wanting it before Parliament for passage" NOT TRUE....THE LAW HAS NOT BEEN PASSED.

 

8-7-2025  MarkZ  Question: Are they blaming Sudani for no RV?  They are definitely trying to deflect the RV not happening on Sudani. But myself and all my contacts call BS on that. Sudani said early on that during this term he would return the dinar to its former glory. Make the dinar the father of the dollar. (More valuable than the dollar)

8-7-2025  Pimpy One of the things that's going to help the Iraqi dinar increase in value is it has to lower its unemployment rate.  That fact that they cut it in half in just 4 years is not too bad, but still 10.8% is pretty high.

 

8-7-2025  Frank26  Every day somebody is arrested.  Every day money is being brought back.  Every day security and stability gets louder and stronger for your new exchange rate to come out safely.

Why not? They've done everything else to this point at 1310. Who's to say they can't build a car dealership at that too?  IF they have no intent to 'significantly' change the dinar's value, then a small increase won't matter one bit.  Not saying Kap and/or Pimple are right....but unfortunately they've been the most spot on thus far, since there hasn't been a significant increase to date.

But how do you get around Sudanis statements about revaluing the IQD stronger than the USD?

You don't get around anything those guys say.  Never take anything they say as 'word'. We have been hearing all the gurus say they can't do this or that at 1310....yet they continue to do so. Trust me, I would love to wake up one day soon and have it not be that number.  But if it walks like a duck.....

CRAPeroni is CONSTANTLY saying that there will be no increase in the value of the Dinar untiltheir economic situation increases. From what  I have seen, thereare very few if ANY other country who has as much economic resources that Iraq has and their currency value is motionless. I am afraid you're probably right that the Iraqi people are content with their status quo and will remain where it is. After all, it's been 20 plus years right around this same rate. (sigh)

Just curious who told Frankie the RR car plant would not be built at the 1310 ER.

A car plant can be built at any ER rate?
