REMEMBER, no one really  knows what will happen, or when. They're simply stating their opinions based on what they perceive to be happening in Iraq... So, take  everything with a grain of salt ... :twothumbs: RON

3-26-2025   Militia Man  Article quote "...as crypto currencies gain traction, the IMF's updated guidelines will  play a crucial roll in shaping the future of the global economic statistics and financial regulation."  What are they telling us?  Iraq is introducing a digital dinar.

3-27-2025   Mnt Goat  Q? : Will they still exchange out the three zero notes to the new lower denominations?  I firmly believe this project will still take place.  When they tell us that the digital dinar will eliminate expenses of printing currency they are talking mainly about the large sums of paper dinars that would have to be transported outside of Iraq to pay their bills for imports...also the CBI told us that our large three zero notes will remain in circulation but only used at the banks for “inter-banking” transactions between countries and banks.

I intentionally didn't post Bruce's or MarkZ's posts about groups & redemption centers.

If they go digital they will not need paper notes to transfer between banks.

o have no real objections to using digital or electronic transfers between lending or bank institutions what I do object to is taking the hard earned cash out of your hands. I like my cash. I use plastic (Credit Card) only because I get cash back, then I pay that card off in full every month. Once we give up our cash and it’s buying power we no longer have control over our financial future.
