Musk has a deep interest in "Outer Space" Acting NASA Director Confirms DOGE Team Will Examine the Agency’s Payments Business Insider reported: “’So, we are a federal agency. We are going to have DOGE come. They are going to look — similarly to what they’ve done at other agencies — at our payments’, said Janet Petro, in comments reported by Bloomberg.”
bigwave
Trump was Right: Study Shows Countless Lives Could Have Been Saved with Hydroxychloroquine A study published by the Brownstowne Institute makes it clear: President Donald Trump was right about the early treatment of COVID with Hydroxychloroquine: Early in the pandemic, President Donald Trump and White House senior official Peter Navarro arranged the donation of 63 million doses of hydroxychloroquine (HCQ) to America’s strategic drug stockpile to combat Covid-19. The government began securing HCQ in March 2020, after Trump, on the advice of his medical and scientific advisors, lauded HCQ as “very encouraging,” “very powerful,” and a “game-changer.” Sadly, instead of embracing President Trump’s HCQ proposal, the medical establishment and the media undertook an unprecedented attack on HCQ: Following Trump’s proposal, HCQ suddenly came under an unwarranted full-scale attack from federal officials, the press, so-called “fact-checkers,” and university professors. Many of the attacks contained outright falsehoods about HCQ’s pharmacology and safety or Trump’s endeavor to make HCQ available to eligible patients. The Brownstowne Institute comes to the conclusion that President Trump was right — countless lives and trillions of dollars could have been saved: The bottom line is: President Trump was correct to secure a donation of, and advocate for the use HCQ for eligible individuals. The most recent cumulative positive findings associated with HCQ are undeniable evidence that Americans would have been better off had HCQ had been implemented and used in eligible populations.

bigwave
Trump Administration Terminates Potentially Over 200,000 Probationary Workers Across Federal Government Federal News Network reported: A source familiar with OPM’s decision-making told Federal News Network that OPM met with agencies and provided them with guidance to fire probationary employees, with “case-by-case exceptions,” including as public safety. The source described OPM’s communication to agencies as “soft guidance,” and that “agencies independently can decide how to move forward.” An OPM spokesperson told Federal News Network that “the probationary period is a continuation of the job application process, not an entitlement for permanent employment.” However, probationary employees in many cases are only supposed to be removed for underperformance or misconduct. “Agencies are taking independent action in light of the recent hiring freeze and in support of the president’s broader efforts to restructure and streamline the federal government better to serve the American people at the highest possible standard,” the spokesperson said. Probationary periods for federal employees typically last for one year. In less common circumstances, certain agencies and federal positions require two-year, or even three-year, probationary periods. Generally, longer probations are reserved for law enforcement officers and certain employees at the Defense Department. 1

bigwave
Judge RIPS Into Lawyers for Fired Inspectors General — Forces Them to Withdraw TRO Motion, Threatens Them with Sanctions! On Wednesday, 8 inspector generals sued to get their jobs back and argued Trump violated a questionable law passed by Congress in 2022. The law requires a US president notify Congress 30 days before firing an inspector general and to explain in detail the reason for the termination. The lawyers for the fired inspectors general really pissed off the judge for wasting her time and she let them have it! On Friday, Judge Reyes tore into the lawyers for waiting 3 weeks to file a lawsuit and then demanding an emergency, same-day temporary restraining order (TRO). The judge forced the lawyers to withdraw their TRO motion and then threatened them with sanctions. https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2025/02/judge-rips-lawyers-fired-inspectors-general-forces-them/ 1

bigwave
Valentine’s Day Massacre: Trump Admin Fires More Than 400 DHS Employees CBS News reported: The Trump administration on Friday moved to fire more than 400 employees at the Department of Homeland Security, the latest effort in a government-wide campaign to dramatically reduce the federal workforce. Officials at DHS said they had fired hundreds of employees across several of its agencies after supervisors identified “non-mission critical personnel in probationary status” within the nation’s top cybersecurity agency, known as CISA, the Federal Emergency Management Agency, and U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, which administers the nation’s legal immigration system, among others. “Under President Trump’s leadership, we are making sweeping cuts and reform across the federal government to eliminate egregious waste and incompetence that has been happening for decades at the expense of the American taxpayer,” DHS spokesperson Tricia McLaughlin said in a statement to CBS News. McLaughlin said the personnel cuts will result in roughly $50 million in savings, and be “incalculably valuable” to the administration’s efforts to cut red tape, adding that the department is “actively identifying other wasteful positions and offices that do not do not fulfill DHS’ mission.”
