"Tayyar": There are political fears of a military coup in Iraq

Shafaq News / Abdul Rahman al-Jazaery, a leader in the National Division Movement, which is part of the State of Law Coalition, stated today, Saturday, that there is a "real" political fear of a military coup in Iraq, after the overthrow of Bashar al-Assad's regime in Syria by the armed opposition factions.

 

Al-Jazaery told Shafaq News Agency, "Military coups in Iraq are possible, and the Coordination Framework and the Iraqi government have a sense of the seriousness of this matter, and there is fear and the situation is unbearable in Iraq and the region."

 

He added, "There are different political problems in Iraq between the components, and this disagreement may be a motive for raising any problem in the next stage."

 

Al-Jazaery added, "We expect that the next stage will witness real political reforms by the Coordination Framework and the entire ruling state administration coalition."

 

After the fall of the Assad regime, Iraq fears the return of the scenario of mid-2014, when ISIS was able to control areas estimated at a third of the country, against the backdrop of the extension of the conflict in Syria between the regime and the opposition factions in the past years.

 

The Iraqi forces reinforced their forces on the border strip with Syria after the Syrian army led by the Assad regime retreated in the face of the armed groups until they were able to topple the regime within a few days.

Well it was Obama and Maliki who unleashed ISIS on Iraqi lands. I doubt very much Al Sudani would allow it and the USA and coalition  forces would not stand by and let that happen

I cannot believe with a month to go of the deep state administration that anyone will seriously attempt a coup. I'm confident that the incoming administration will lay bare the machinations of evil that have been the norm in our government for decades. I know it won't happen, but I firmly believe we need a gallows built on the Capitol steps. JMHO.

What amazes me is when they all live together in Israel, not thinking Gaza, those in Jerusalem, they prosper and have good lives. Make a good living, plenty of food, places to live, their kids are well educated - this stupid need to get rid of any thing opposing Allah or Islam, they will never realize or enjoy the type of life accepting Israel affords them. Those that are so poor will remain poor because the money will continue to make the islam master minds fat and afford them the good life. Those will never share & will continue to live off the backs of the down trodden. And even amongst all the different factions will continue to war amongst themselves. They are doomed.
