Thanks umbertino. My wife is going through the early stages of dementia, white matter disease in the Brain.

Any new treatments out there on this?

nstoolman1 speaks truth.

I would add water for sure and nootropics like Choline and DMAE.

B6 time released at least 500 - 600 mg per day is recommended as well.

There are many nootropics. If you never heard of that word, one could look it up.

The 1 thing that many people have in common,  is a dehydrated brain.

I always say: Water, water, water and more water. You're nothing but a big sack of water, I don't care what they say about you. LOLOL. Just kidding as we are talking about your wife so I will try and stay on topic.

So you might as well flood yourself.

One could get too much water if they do not replenish their electrolytes.

I use Himalayan salt as it has all 84 minerals of the earth in it.

It's all pretty cheap too and with a long history of success that is natural and way less risky than a "new" drug...

Hope it helps.

It is mulitfactor causes.  Diet, Heavy Metals, Mold.  My mother is currently in advanced stages and I can't get my sister to put her on  a Ketogenic Diet.  I'm hearing 3-6 months on Keto and you'll see noticeable improvement.  It's not the cureall, but it is a start.  Get the books above.

If she is on a cholesterol medicine, stop it immediately.
