REMEMBER, no one really  knows what will happen, or when. They're simply stating their opinions based on what they perceive to be happening in Iraq... So, take everything with a grain of salt ... :twothumbs: RON

MarkZ  In Iraq News:KBR wins $46 million dollar contract to support sustainable development in Iraq" This is actually more exciting then you think. This is an American engineering firm that was just awarded this 5 year options to support infrastructure  and energy ambitions. This is a long term contract and they are moving forward with these mega projects. What do they need to do these mega projects that they want to start immediately They need a heck of a lot more money than the current rate will support...It has moved beyond the planning phase and is in the execution stage. For it to be executed it needs dollars…and we certainly think we know where those dollars are coming from. :twothumbs:

Buckeyetree  National Bank of Iraq Tutorial: "With simple steps, you can now deposit your money through ATMs with easeThe ATM tutorial about ability to make deposits into the ATMs is not only a convenience for Iraqis, but IMO another way for the CBI to collect 3 zero notes that may be in the dinar mattresses.:twothumbs:

Added @ 7:30 PM CDT:

Fnu Lnu  Holding early elections in Iraq could have significant consequences for the country’s stability and politics. While some potential outcomes may be positive, such as the strengthening of political parties and the promotion of democracy, others may be more negative, such as increased political polarization and violence.

And NOW for some of Bruce's :bs:

Bruce  We know that there's a lot going on behind the scenes.  One of our bankers - Wells Fargo said, Just hang in there...just hang in there a couple more days...So I'm excited...we will be able to look back at years of waiting and say, it was worth it.

Like the CBI or GOI will be talking to our US banks about what's going to happen and when. If so, nothing could stop them from buying IQD wherever available, and take advantage of that "secret" information...LOL..! :drunk: RON

HOUSTON, June 18, 2024 – KBR (NYSE: KBR) announced today it has been awarded a five-year contract, with options, to support the Iraqi government's visionary infrastructure and future energy ambitions, including the delivery of megaprojects and sustainable development.

Under the terms of the $46 million contract, KBR will provide its differentiated advisory and consultancy capabilities to the Iraqi Government’s Ministry of Planning, with a focus on creating an effective program environment to support successful delivery of strategic megaprojects.

I can dispel this really quick when these poo-roo’s mention WF! There is absolutely nothing going on with the IQD when it comes to WF! I will know before any poo-roo when it comes to WF! The bank managers there hate the word dinar! You want to get a big ole belly laugh out of one them, just waltz on in there and let them know that you are holding IQD! Trust me I have been laughed at a few times over the last 14 years! I’m still hoping I get the last laugh though! I’m not selling out! JMHO
