From what i can gather on the google , true or no , is that the most gold Fort Knox held was in 1942 ,amounting to 650,million troy ounces ,and did not change through out WW2 , that war  allegedly having no impact on our gold reserves. As of 2025 , Fort Knox holds 147 million troy ounces . Records of the gold held at Fort Knox  in 2003 until 2014 are not available to us poor slobs.

remember there were allegations about missing trillions from the pentagon etc around sept 11? just saying

Trump has said that he favors gold backed currency because it "levels the playing field" There are reports of Trump rounding up all the gold and stashing it in NY somewhere. Then there was the crypto meeting and I believe these events are tied together.

Big dumb question here , what is backing crypto ?

From what I gather..... crypto currencies are determined by market forces. Not directly backed by gold or any physical assets.

I put this question on the google and found this out . Cryptos are not backed by gold or any other tangible asset . It is based on it's unique proprietary knowledge to move money internationally ,bock chain and all , and about its scarcity . It has no allegiance to any country and will free float around the world   All countries , including the USA, need solid tangible assets , including gold at #1 .

Cryptos are backed by the exact same thing the USD is, NOTHING. And don't say that the USD is back by the good faith of the US Government, because that's a f'ing joke!!!

Crypto value is in the technology. XRP and several others like XLM, XDC, ALGO, QNT, IOTA, will move the worlds money and soon EVERYTHING will be tokenized. I don't really think XRP is backed by GOLD, but it WILL move TOKENIZED GOLD all around the world at some time in the near future.
