Dergham al-Maliki, a member of the committee, told Baghdad Today that "the oil and gas law is one of the important laws, and it preserves the rights of Iraq in general, whether in the Kurdistan region or the central and southern provinces."

"With the start of the new legislative term, we will work in the House of Representatives to legislate the oil and gas law, as it will definitively settle the export and import mechanism," he said.
