{Politics: Al-Furat News} Prime Minister Muhammad Shia Al-Sudani visited today, Sunday, the People's Hospital project on the Rusafa side of the capital, Baghdad.

A statement by his media office, received by {Euphrates News}, stated that "the Prime Minister visited the People's Hospital project, on the Rusafa side of the capital, Baghdad, which can accommodate 246 beds, and was briefed on the stages of completion."

Prime Minister Mohammed S. Al-Sudani led a meeting this morning to address stalled hospital projects. The Minister of Health, representatives from the Ministry of Planning, the Federal Board of Supreme Audit, and the Prime Minister's Office follow-up team were in attendance.
 
“The meeting focused on the implementation of directives given by Prime Minister Al-Sudani during his visit to Al-Shaab General Hospital project in Baghdad on June 18, 2023. The Prime Minister examined the key reasons for project delays and addressed them,” stated the Media Office of the Prime Minister in a statement, received by The Iraqi News Agency-INA.
 
The statement added ,"Al-Sudani instructed the settlement of financial matters with the companies involved in these projects, including those pertaining to basic services and related infrastructure. He emphasized the importance of continuing to monitor the implementation of previously approved solutions and adhering to established timelines, aiming to expedite the completion of these hospitals for immediate utilization".

{Politics: Al-Furat News} Prime Minister Muhammad Shia Al-Sudani chaired this morning, Saturday, a meeting to follow up lagging hospital projects.

"The meeting took place in the presence of the Minister of Health, representatives of the Ministry of Planning, the Office of Financial Supervision and the follow-up team in the Prime Minister's office," Al-Sudani's media office said in a statement.

He pointed out that "during the meeting, what was implemented of the Prime Minister's directives was followed up, during his visit to the People's General Hospital project on the Rusafa side of Baghdad, on June 18, 2023, where the Prime Minister examined the most important reasons for the project's delay and other lagging hospital projects. He directed to treat it, and to submit the results to him.”

Al-Sudani also directed "to resolve the financial matters of the companies working on these projects, and everything related to basic services and related infrastructure, and to continue to follow up on the implementation of previously approved solutions, and to adhere to the timelines related to implementation, in order to bring these hospitals into service as soon as possible." .

Prime Minister Muhammad Shia' al-Sudani said, during the inauguration, yesterday, Saturday, of the Center for Hematology and Bone Marrow Transplantation in the Medical City in Baghdad: "This center is distinguished in its treatment services for people with this type of disease, and it was implemented in cooperation with a number of citizen donors," extending his thanks. For "donors, including doctors, businessmen, and patients' families."

 

Al-Sudani listened to a "detailed explanation of the center's work, which will contribute to making a difference in the health level of patients, in addition to reducing treatment costs that used to go outside Iraq by a large percentage."

 

He stressed, "The government's concern for the file of lagging hospitals, many of which will enter service soon, as well as specialized and health centers in Baghdad and the provinces," noting that "the government has made the necessary allocations in the three-year budget in order to secure the needs of the health sector."

 

He added, "The government has begun with a new vision for managing hospitals through specialized Arab and international institutions, and that there are dialogues taking place in order to complete contracts to manage part of the hospitals in Baghdad and the provinces," referring to the entry into force of the health insurance law, whose first entry included 300 thousand citizens. The number will increase later, in addition to the government’s vision of localizing the drug, which it is hoped will enter many of its factories for service during the coming months.

 

Prime Minister Muhammad Shia' al-Sudani chaired a meeting to follow up on his directives regarding identifying the most important reasons for the delay of the People's General Hospital on the Rusafa side, and other lagging hospital projects, and directed to treat them, and to submit the results to him. Now Iraq has state of the art hospitals, aircraft, shipping ports, and most traded stock exchange in ME. 
Fixing to build largest industrial city in ME. 
Just the fees made off the shipping containers passing through Iraq will make them filthy rich. 
I would say this justifies a descent exchange rate
