On Thursday, Al-Rafidain Bank warned its customers against giving out their electronic card information and being subject to theft.  

 

  

  

The bank said in a statement that “NAS” received a copy of it (May 25, 2023), that it “calls on employees and retirees who hold electronic payment cards from the bank to exercise caution and caution and not to give any data related to their cards (Master Card) or the card’s password to anyone claiming Its association with any party or the bank in order to avoid falling into the trap of fraud and theft of the credit card and unauthorized use of that card account by sending e-mails or text messages or calling the card holder and asking him to provide them with their card numbers and accounts in order to withdraw their balances in those cards.  

  

The bank also called on its "customers not to copy, photocopy or trade their own electronic cards in order to reduce the process of piracy by the weak of heart."

He added, "The bank also warns customers of fake pages on social networking sites that claim to belong to the bank because they follow the loan-granting transactions and publish pictures containing the names of citizens claiming that they have been approved by the bank for the purpose of granting them loans."

". 

Ghaleb called, according to the statement, "citizens to report these accounts, so that the competent authorities can take the necessary measures in their regard," stressing at the same time that "society has been organizing awareness campaigns in this regard to educate and immunize citizens against these negative cases."
