REMEMBER, no one really  knows what will happen, or when.  They're simply stating their opinions based on what they perceive to be happening in Iraq... So, take everything with a grain of salt ...  RON 

 

 

MarkZ  There are meetings going on with the UN in Iraq (And you know this how..?) as they talk about all the changes as they are looking to change their values....I am hearing phenomenal things about the weekend (in his imagination and from other gurus). Hearing phenomenal things about the possibility of an announcement in Iraq tomorrow. Stay calm...We are all praying its accurate this time. Everything continues to be very positive.

 

Nader From The Mid East  Today it seems weird. They stopped all electronic transaction in Iraq. They stopped them all and we don't know why. What's interesting is that the CBI & GOI have been pushing people to use cards and electronic transactions, then they come out and do this to them..! Hopefully a new exchange rate will be revealed soon, prior to resumption..! RON 

 

Frank26  [Iraq boots-on-the-ground report] FIREFLY: All of our cards like MasterCard and Visa card and key cards...are suspended all of a sudden...they're saying due to changes in the CBI. Something is going on. And they say they'll be back up in a couple of days...This is all falling together nicely and it seems to be for this weekend. FRANK: If they have reached the budget...and they're going to come out this weekend with it, then it makes sense doesn't it that everything else now has to freeze for the budget to come out with a new exchange rate that will be calculated into your cards, loans, accounts, daily life, your new lower denominated notes...let's see what happens...

I don't know Frankie...

If CBI was about to come out with a new exchange rate, they would have to do a lot more than just freezing credit cards & loans. 

They would have to re-do the ISX, adjust prices of everything, call for at least a 3 day bank closure to make the transition & other international payment system adjustments.   Its no small easy task.   IMHO.

All this electronic plastic and digital currency makes me nervous. If they can shut your CC and digital currency which Biden is pushing hard that mean you loose all control over your transactions and lifer it’s self. Once cash is gone our liberty and freedoms are gone.
