Baghdad /Nina/ Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Planning, Mohammed Ali Tamim, discussed with the Regional Director of the International Monetary Fund Ghazi Al-Shubaikat mechanisms to achieve economic and financial reforms in Iraq. The Ministry of Planning said in a statement that "during the meeting, which was attended by the head of the Central Bureau of Statistics, Diaa Awad Kazim, they discussed a number of files related to the work of the Fund in Iraq, and ways to enhance joint cooperation between the two sides.”

The statement added, “The meeting touched on the file of economic and financial reform, and the possibility of benefiting from the capabilities and expertise of the International Monetary Fund in supporting the efforts of the Iraqi government in this field, especially with regard to the preparation of medium-term budgets, the automation of the banking sector, and work to achieve economic diversification.”
For his part, Al-Shubaikat expressed "the Fund's readiness to provide possible support to Iraq in many fields, whether related to the economic, financial, or statistical aspects."

The Prime Minister, Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani, met on Thursday with the Resident Representative of the International Monetary Fund in Iraq, Ghazi Shbeikat, in the presence of the Governor of the Central Bank, Ali Al-Alaq.  

 

  

The Prime Minister's Information Office said in a statement (March 30, 2023) that "the meeting discussed Iraq's relationship with the International Monetary Fund, and cooperation in the field of supporting financial policies and plans, in a way that contributes to achieving the stability of the Iraqi economy."  

  

The statement added that "the meeting discussed the importance of financial and administrative reforms adopted by the government, and the support of its efforts to combat corruption."

On Thursday, Prime Minister Mohamed Shia Al-Sudani discussed with the International Monetary Fund ways to support financial policies and plans to contribute to achieving the stability of the Iraqi economy.

 

The media office of the Sudanese in a statement received by the Shafaq News Agency, that the latter met today with the resident representative of the International Monetary Fund in Iraq, Ghazi Shbeikat, and during the meeting they discussed Iraq's relationship with the International Monetary Fund, and cooperation in the field of supporting financial policies and plans, which contributes to achieving the stability of the Iraqi economy.

The meeting discussed the importance of the financial and administrative reforms adopted by the government, and the support of its efforts to combat corruption.

Minister of planning, the dude that’s reviewing effect of changes to exchange rates and submitting his fundings to the PM just happens to be at this meeting…hmmmm wonder what they are discussing?

Here is my quess ; 

 3 for me and 2 for you, then, 1 for him and him and him and him and the rest of the room, then we'll form a committee to discuss the results. And then we'll do nothing but form another committee to discuss the possibility of forming another committee to discuss the results of the last committee that did nothing but form another committee. 

In the meantime; it's business as usual ... All in favor raise you right hand ........... this meeting is adjourned with all in favor of the findings of this committee. (Business as usual)

{Politics: Al Furat News} Prime Minister Muhammad Shia Al-Sudani met today, Thursday, with the Resident Representative of the International Monetary Fund in Iraq, Ghazi Shbeikat.
 

A statement from his office, a copy of which {Euphrates News} received, stated that: "During the meeting, they discussed Iraq's relationship with the International Monetary Fund, and cooperation in the field of supporting financial policies and plans, in a way that contributes to achieving stability in the Iraqi economy." 

"The meeting also witnessed a discussion of the importance of the financial and administrative reforms adopted by the government, and supporting its efforts to combat corruption," he added.
