REMEMBER, no one really  knows what will happen, or when.  They're simply stating their opinions based on what they perceive to be happening in Iraq... So, take everything with a grain of salt ....  RON 

 

 

MarkZ  This is a huge, absolutely stunning , gigantic, and positive news from Iraq. Article: “Baghdad, Erbil reach an agreement on the 2023 budget –Lawmaker” I am told things have gone well and its submitted now for a “rubber stamp” on it…they even outline the details of it in the article…We were always told this is one of the last things that would “suddenly” happen before the RV release…so…this tells us we are awfully close.

We have an HCL agreement in principle, just as the 2023 Budget awaits the three readings & the Gazette.

If all goes well, we can see some action, sometime in March.

Hopefully, the HCL & Budget will not be kicked back again for another review or another amendment.

This is good news.  Go RV-RI.

Seems for years there have been reports on an agreement on the HCL at 14%.....then the Kurds pull it back saying nothing less than 17%......we'll see?

It’s just my opinion, but if it doesn’t happen by the 22nd of this month, we’ll be waiting for at least a few months.

I read recently the Kurds held out 17% & settled for 16% about a month to get a HCL deal.

Maybe someone on DV can help out. 

I can't remember where I saw the article.
