Shafaq News/ The Central Bank's sales of dollars decreased in an auction today, Wednesday, by more than 38%, to reach 65 million dollars.

Shafaq News agency reporter stated, "The Central Bank sold today, during its auction for buying and selling US dollars, 65 million and 492 thousand and 120 dollars, a decrease of 38.1% compared to yesterday, Wednesday, in which sales amounted to 105 million and 115 thousand and 216 dollars, which the bank covered at an exchange rate." Basis amounted to 1460 dinars per dollar.

 

 

 

Our correspondent added that sales of dollars went in the form of cash at 31 million and 300 thousand dollars, while the rest of 34 million 192 thousand and 120 dollars went to reinforce the balances abroad in the form of (remittances, credits).

Our correspondent indicated that the number of banks that bought the cash dollar amounted to 12, while the number of banks that responded to requests for strengthening balances abroad reached 12, while the total number of exchange and mediation companies participating in the auction was 84 companies.

Shafaq News agency reporter stated, "The Central Bank sold today, during its auction for buying and selling the US dollar, 81,700,193 dollars, which the bank covered at a basic exchange rate of 1,460 dinars per dollar.

 

 

 

Our correspondent added that most of the dollar sales went in the form of cash, amounting to 41,800,000 dollars, while the rest, amounting to 49,900,000 and 193 dollars, went to strengthening balances abroad in the form of (remittances, credits).

Shafaq News agency reporter stated, "The Central Bank sold today, during its auction for buying and selling US dollars, 76,217,760 dollars, a decrease of 14.61% compared to yesterday, Wednesday, when sales amounted to 89,236,314 dollars, which the bank covered at an exchange rate." The basis amounted to 1305 dinars per dollar for documentary credits and international settlements of electronic cards, at a price of 1310 dinars per dollar for foreign transfers, and at a price of 1310 dinars per dollar in cash.

I thought our Fed  & Treasury had this straightened out yet Iraq started again with purchase of excessive dollar amounts in the millions. Wheres all the controls suppose to be in place.We know this money going to Iran and the feds not able to stop this?
