One of the most famous Italian songs in the world

 

In 1958 this song in its original Italian version sold a lot of copies in the US

 

Then a lot of versions were rec'd in many languages.....

 

As a result of his success, Domenico Modugno then made a US tour  where he'd be called "Mr.Volare"
