The formation of the Iraqi government comes in a multi-sectarian and multi-ethnic country in which political life is based on endless negotiations between the dominant forces on the scene, which seem difficult, and the differences may return to the fore again .

The crisis and political tensions in Iraq escalated over a 12-month period following the early elections that were held last October, and during that period led to tensions and confrontations in the Iraqi street.
