Rafidain Bank announced, on Thursday, the start of distributing the salaries of retirees.  

  

 

  

  

And the bank’s media stated in a statement that “Nass” received copies of it, (September 1, 2022), “Al-Rafidain Bank announces the distribution of the salaries of retirees for the month of September through electronic payment tools.”  

  

He added, "Civil and military retirees have been distributed," noting that "retirees can receive their salaries from anywhere they are."

{Economic: Al Furat News} Today, Thursday, the Ministry of Finance directed the National Pension Agency to launch raising the salaries of civil and military retirees for the month of September.

And the ministry confirmed in a statement that the agency {Euphrates News} received a copy of it, “The Rashid and Rafidain bank administrations must complete the procedures for paying the salaries of civil and military retirees for the current month through electronic payment cards.”

The Finance also called on "all retirees (civilian and military) who will receive text messages to review bank branches and automatic exchange outlets in Baghdad and the provinces to receive their salaries."

An informed source told Al-Furat News yesterday that "the distribution of pensioners' salaries will take place on Thursday evening {today} after the receipt of the funding notification by the Ministry of Finance."

{Economic: Al Furat News} The Iraqi Private Banks Association announced that the rate of financial inclusion in Iraq has risen to 33.5% as a result of the measures taken by the Central Bank of Iraq in implementing the financial inclusion strategy.

The Executive Director of the Association of Iraqi Private Banks, Ali Tariq, said, in a statement received by {Euphrates News} a copy of it, that “the percentage of financial inclusion increased from 22.5% during the year 2020 to 33.5%, an increase of about 49% over the year 2020, due to the bank’s policy The Central Bank supports the project to localize employee salaries, increase the opening of bank branches, and support digital transformation, electronic wallets, payment points, and ATMs.

He added that "the increase in financial inclusion is a reflection of the increase in confidence in the banking sector, and thus will reflect positively on growth in the economy in general."

And Tariq indicated that "the number of employees who settled their salaries until the end of 2021 amounted to about 4 million, which contributed to the number of banking branches reaching 905," stressing that "the increase in the percentage of financial inclusion is related to focusing on increasing financial transactions for individuals or companies and benefiting from Diversified banking services.

 He indicated that the volume of electronic wallets grew by 71% over the past year. As well as with a noticeable increase in the volume of deposits and credit provided to various sectors.

Shafaq News/ The Association of Iraqi Private Banks announced, on Sunday, that the rate of financial inclusion in Iraq has risen to 33.5% as a result of the measures taken by the Central Bank in implementing the financial inclusion strategy.

The Executive Director of the Association of Iraqi Private Banks, Ali Tariq, said in a press statement today, that the percentage of financial inclusion increased from 22.5% during the year 2020 to 33.5%, an increase of about 49% over the year 2020, due to the policy of the Central Bank to support the project to localize employee salaries and increase Opening banking branches, supporting digital transformation operations, electronic wallets, payment points, and ATMs.

IPBL announces increase of financial inclusion rate

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) – The Iraqi Private Banks League (IPBL) announced on Sunday that the rate of financial inclusion in Iraq rose to 33.5 percent as a result of the measures taken by the Central Bank of Iraq (CBI) in implementing the financial inclusion strategy.

The financial inclusion is defined as the availability and equality of opportunities to access financial services.

The financial inclusion also refers to a process by which individuals and businesses can access appropriate, affordable, and timely financial products and services such as banking, loan, equity, and insurance products.

Director of the IPBL, Ali Tariq, said that the percentage of financial inclusion increased from 22.5 percent in 2020 to 33.5 percent, according to a press statement cited by the Iraqi News Agency (INA).

This increase represents 49 percent compared to 2020, and it is due to the CBI’s policy that increases bank branches, digital transformation, electronic wallets and ATMs, Tariq explained.

Tariq elaborated that the rise in the financial inclusion rate increased the confidence in the banking sector, thus, it would positively affect the economic growth in general.

Tariq indicated that the number of employees receiving their salaries in bank accounts reached four million employees in 2021, and this increased the number of bank branches to 905.

Tariq confirmed that the increase in the financial inclusion rate is related to the increased financial transactions for individuals or companies, and benefiting from various banking services.

Tariq added that the volume of electronic wallets grew by 71 percent over the past year with a noticeable increase in the volume of deposits and credit provided to various sectors.

Work: The release of the full-time employee’s salary for the month of August
  
{Local: Al Furat News} The Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs announced today, Tuesday, the launch of the full-time employee’s salary for beneficiaries in Baghdad and the governorates for the month of August 2022, according to the Emergency support Law for Food Security and Development.

The ministry stated in a statement received by {Euphrates News}, that "the authority has completed the technical and financial procedures to release the salaries of the full-time appointee for the month of August for the beneficiaries whose electronic MasterCard cards were issued for the month of August 2022."

She called on the male and female beneficiaries to "go to the outlets approved by the banks (Al-Rafidain, Al-Rasheed, and Ashur) to receive their salaries after completing the procedures and informing them by the banks."

Today, Thursday, the Ministry of Finance directed the National Retirement Authority to raise the salaries of civil and military retirees for the month of October.

The ministry said in a statement received by Alsumaria News, "The Rashid and Al-Rafidain bank administrations must complete the procedures for paying the salaries of civil and military retirees through electronic payment cards."

The ministry called on all civil and military retirees who will receive text messages to review bank branches and automatic exchange outlets in Baghdad and the governorates to receive their salaries.

Shafaq News/ Al-Rasheed Bank announced, on Thursday, the launch of a new batch of "credit card" for employees and members of the security forces.

In a statement received by Shafaq News Agency, the media office stated that the aforementioned amount can be obtained by those whose salary exceeds one million Iraqi dinars for members of the security forces, and (750) thousand dinars for employees.

He added that the application is made through the application of Al-Rasheed Bank, indicating that those who have a previous advance can apply for a credit card, it will remain under the card.

The Parliamentary Finance Committee revealed, on Wednesday, that 300,000 employees received more than one salary, while the offering of a currency of 20 thousand dinars was considered a positive step.

Member of the committee, Representative Jamal Cougar, said in a televised statement that “salaries will not stop because there is no budget,” noting that “salaries amount to 70 trillion dinars, and this is in violation of international standards.”

Cougar added, "We need 10 billion dollars a month to secure expenses," noting that "300,000 employees receive more than one salary."

He explained, "Some employees receive 5 salaries."

And regarding the Central Bank’s intention to offer a currency of 20 thousand dinars, Cougar said, it is a “positive step.”

The ministry said in a statement received by "Nass" a copy of it, (October 17, 2022), "The Accounting Department will resume, as of today, Monday, the financing of the salaries of state employees for all ministries and entities not associated with a ministry for the month of October."  

  

The statement added, "The ministry calls on all spending units affiliated with the ministries, to review the headquarters of the ministry / the accounting department, according to the approved review schedule, for the purpose of starting the financing procedures."
