President Abdul Latif receives the Iranian ambassador to Baghdad

The President of the Republic, Abdul Latif Rashid, discussed, on Sunday, with the Iranian ambassador to Baghdad, Muhammad Kazem Al Sadiq, ways to strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries.  

 

  

  

A statement by the Presidency of the Republic, a copy of which was received by "Nass", said (October 16, 2022), "The President of the Republic, Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid, received today, Sunday, October 16 - 2022, the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic to Iraq, Mr. Muhammad Kazem Al Sadiq."  

  

During the meeting, according to the statement, the Iranian ambassador offered "congratulations to the President of the Republic on his election as President of the Republic of Iraq, wishing His Excellency success in his new duties, stressing his country's support for Iraq in enhancing its security and stability."  

  

The statement concluded, "The bilateral relations and ways of developing them were also discussed, stressing the importance of consolidating cooperation and joint coordination between the two neighboring countries."

{Political: Al Furat News} The President of the Republic, Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid, received today, Sunday, the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic to Iraq, Mr. Muhammad Kazem Al Sadiq.

The media office of the Presidency of the Republic said in a statement received by {Euphrates News} that "the Iranian ambassador offered, during the meeting, congratulations to Rashid on the occasion of his election as President of the Republic of Iraq, wishing His Excellency success in his new duties, stressing his country's support for Iraq in enhancing its security and stability." 

The statement added: "During the meeting, they discussed bilateral relations and ways to develop them, stressing the importance of consolidating cooperation and joint coordination between the two neighboring countries."

WOW, what took the Iranians so long to takeover Baghdad? 48 hours, they must be slipping. I’m surprised with all the demonstrations and protests in Iran they were able to mobilize that quickly.
