For the second day.. dollar sales increased in the Iraqi Central auction

Shafaq News/ Dollar cash sales to banks and mediation companies increased significantly, today, Tuesday, after dropping to less than 5 million dollars.

Shafak News Agency correspondent stated, "The Central Bank sold today, during its auction to buy and sell US dollars, 266 million and 50 thousand and 662 US dollars, which were covered by the bank at a base exchange rate of 1460 dinars per dollar.

Our correspondent added that cash sales from the dollar rose to reach 68 million and 900 thousand dollars, after it was 4 million and 500 thousand dollars on Monday, while most of the other sales went to enhance balances abroad in the form of remittances and credits, which amounted to 197 million and 150 thousand 662 dollars.

Our correspondent indicated that 32 banks have fulfilled requests to enhance balances abroad, and 25 banks have responded to cash requests, in addition to 279 mediation companies.

Shafaq News/ Cash sales of US dollars rose in the Central Bank of Iraq auction, for the second day in a row, reaching more than 60 million dollars.

Shafak News Agency correspondent stated that the Central Bank sold today, Wednesday, during its auction for buying and selling US dollars, 261 million and 867 thousand and 488 US dollars, which were covered by the bank at a base exchange rate of 1460 dinars per dollar.

Our correspondent added that cash sales from the dollar rose to 64 million dollars, while most of the other sales amounting to 197 million and 867 thousand and 488 dollars went to enhance balances abroad in the form of remittances and credits.

Our correspondent indicated that 31 banks have met requests to enhance balances abroad, and 22 banks have responded to cash requests, in addition to 255 mediating companies.
