The Central Bank of Iraq (CBI) on Sunday obtained the ISO certificate (ISO9001:2015) related to the quality management system for cash management issued by TQCS INTERNATIONAL PTY LTD.

The company, which awarded the certificate to the Director General of the Issuance and Safes Department, praised the efforts of the Central Bank of Iraq in the application of international specifications and standards.

It is worth mentioning that this certificate is granted every three years to institutions that apply international regulations and standards for total quality management and institutional development, and this certificate supports the conformity of the bank's cash management operations with the requirements of the international standard for quality management.

Indeed, I can well imagine a criminal enterprise on such a Grand scale would require sound, savvy & firm financial minds to manage the billions of $$$$$ flowing in (&out) of their doors.

ISO 9001:2015 specifies requirements for a quality management system when an organization:

a) needs to demonstrate its ability to consistently provide products and services that meet customer and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements, and

b) aims to enhance customer satisfaction through the effective application of the system, including processes for improvement of the system and the assurance of conformity to customer and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.

All the requirements of ISO 9001:2015 are generic and are intended to be applicable to any organization, regardless of its type or size, or the products and services it provides.
