President Saleh calls on political forces to dialogue.. The delay in forming a government is unacceptable

Baghdad - people

On Friday, the President of the Republic, Barham Salih, called on the political forces for a serious dialogue in which the main forces would participate, stressing that "the delay in forming the government is unacceptable."

Saleh said in a speech on the occasion of the Prophet's birthday in Adhamiya, which was followed by "Nass" (October 7, 2022), that "our country is experiencing a critical moment that puts it at a crossroads, either going back to internal conflicts and line-ups, or starting with a united will that accommodates the grave challenges and meets the needs of citizens." .

He added, "The absence of permanent stability exhausts our country and people and opens the door to foreign interventions that have made the country a field and fuel for the struggles of others on its land with the money and lives of the Iraqis."

He stressed, "The continuation of the status quo is no longer acceptable. The formation of governments is getting longer, and constitutional clauses are disrupting more and worse living conditions and services are more, and it is not possible to bet on the patience of the Iraqis more."

He continued, "A whole year has passed since the elections were held without completing their constitutional entitlements, which is totally unacceptable."

Saleh: The status quo is no longer acceptable, and the patience of the Iraqis cannot be bet any more

{Political: Al Furat News} The President of the Republic, Barham Salih, considered the political situation in the country "no longer acceptable", warning against "betting more on the patience of the Iraqis."

In his speech, while attending the celebration of the Prophet's birthday in the city of Adhamiya this evening, Saleh said: "We must recall the eloquent lessons of tolerance and coexistence from the biography of our Prophet Muhammad, who built a state on human foundations, calling for truth, justice, mercy and delinquency to peace."

He pointed out that "Al-Adhamiya and Al-Kadhimiya are twins of Baghdad, inseparable and inseparable, and they had a prominent role in burying sedition, and they are truly a symbol of unity and cohesion among Iraqis."

He stressed that "attempts by terrorist groups have failed to justify their actions with the true Islamic religion, and those who wanted to blame Muslims for terrorism and extremism were disappointed, and that the values of Islam emphasize peace, dialogue, convergence and moderation."

Saleh stressed that "our country is experiencing a pivotal moment that puts it at a crossroads, either to go back to internal conflicts and line-ups, or to launch with a unified will that accommodates the grave challenges and meets the needs of citizens."

He pointed out that "the absence of permanent stability exhausts our country and people, and opens the door open to external interventions that have made the country a field and fuel for the struggles of others on its land with the money and lives of the Iraqis."

Salih said: "The continuation of the status quo is no longer acceptable, the formation of governments is taking longer, constitutional provisions are more disrupted, and living conditions and services are more bad, and it is not possible to bet on the patience of the Iraqis more."

Sincerely, the President of the Republic called on all political forces to engage in serious dialogue whose basis and purpose would be the interest of the country and the citizen, and to move towards forming a government with full powers, to approve the crippled budget, manage people's affairs, and manage the next stage.

And he indicated that "Iraq's geographical location in the heart of the region should be a bridge of communication and an economic, commercial and cultural center, not a hub and arena for the conflicts of others."

He stressed that "the Iraqis insist on a homeland that has complete sovereignty, lives in security with its people and with its neighbors, and takes its civilized position in the region and the world."

' Bout says it all right there Jake21. Endless meetings, running off at the mouth, Bureaucrat's mumbojumbo STILL nothing's accomplished ( after 20 years ), AND the 1 Year anniversary of Iraq without a seated government literally hours away.

The criminal politicians are very pleased with themselves right about now because " unacceptable " or not, they still hold the high ground...and they'll sand bag & foot drag for as long as the rest of Iraq, the UN, World Bank & IMF sit on the bench gathering splinters in their butts.
