Foreign Minister: To summon the Iranian ambassador tomorrow and hand him a note of protest against the bombing of the region

{Political: Al Furat News} Foreign Minister Fouad Hussein announced that the ministry will summon the Iranian ambassador in Baghdad to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs tomorrow and submit a protest note to him against the Iranian bombing in the Kurdistan region.

Hussein said at the Al-Rafidain Forum for Dialogue, held in the capital, Baghdad today: “Armed organizations and parties such as the Kurdistan Workers’ Party and creation represent a problem for the Iraqi government and the Kurdistan government, and our duty is to defend Iraqi sovereignty and the Iraqi citizen by all means except violence. We need elements of internal strength to take the rights of families affected by Turkish and Iranian bombing.” .

And he indicated that "Iran is a neighbor, ally and friend of Iraq, and we have openly cooperated in various fields with the Iranian side."

Hussein pointed out that "the relations between some politicians with some countries are not in the interest of Iraq, and what we need is for Iraqi politicians to support the Iraqi state's foreign policy."

He explained that "foreign policy expresses internal policies at a high rate, and internal problems weaken our foreign positions. We went to the Security Council and filed a complaint regarding the Turkish bombing of Zakho, and investigations in the Security Council are continuing."

The foreign minister stressed that "Iraq is not a back garden for any country," stressing that "Iran or Turkey has no right to bomb Iraqi lands or enter their armies to defend themselves against the armed parties present in Iraq."

Shafaq News/ Shakhwan Abdullah, Deputy Speaker of Parliament considered, on Thursday, the bombing that targeted more than one Iraqi province a "dangerous shift" that suggests that it is part of the state of Iran.

Abdullah said during his hosting at the Al-Rafidain Forum for Dialogue, that "everything that is happening now is due to the weakness of the Iraqi government. It is true that there are summons to ambassadors, but this is not enough, as the Iraqis are asking for more."

He added that Iraq is a sovereign country that has international support in protecting its sovereignty, adding: Yesterday there was a dangerous shift by targeting more than one Iraqi governorate with dozens of missiles and drones, as if this geographical spot is part of the neighboring country, and it uses all its capabilities to protect this spot, noting that the response On such violations, the unity of the Iraqi political forces shall be in place.

Regarding the early elections in Iraq, Abdullah said: The early elections must be preceded by a political agreement in order to accept the upcoming results, stressing that the political forces must have a political consensus before holding any elections.

He also said: If we want political stability, we have to involve all political forces, especially the Sadrist movement, for the upcoming political process, and we count on dialogue and the effort made by the political blocs.

Regarding the Iraqi constitution, the Deputy Speaker of Parliament said that it is a very good constitution and the best constitution in the region, and the problem is not in it, but in the lack of application of its articles. Failure to implement this constitution, which led to weakness in the administration of the state.

He cautioned that there is no representation of components in the Iraqi government, and this is a violation of the Iraqi constitution, and there is more than one constitutional violation in this aspect.

Abdullah concluded that it was the defect in the administration of the country that unjustly represented the Iraqi components in the Iraqi governments, stressing that the application of the constitution is the solution to ending the current problems in Iraq and the failure to implement the constitution brought Iraq to what we are.

It is noteworthy that Iraq owns 7 categories of local currency issued by the Central Bank of Iraq, which are “250 dinars, 500 dinars, 1000 dinars, 5000 dinars, 10,000 dinars, 25000 dinars, and 50,000 dinars.”

Okay people with a rational sense understands why a 20,000 dinar note is to be issued by Iraq. Let's take a look at this rationale.

1) Most countries have paper denominations in 5, 10, 20, 50 and 100. Since these are the most denominations of paper currency for most countries, it only follows suit that Iraq would do so as well.

2) Removing three zeros would make the specified dinar notes become:

250 dinars => 0.25 dinars (parallel to the twenty-five cent piece  in the US)

500 dinars => 0.50 dinars (parallel to the fifty cent piece in the US)

1000 dinars => 1 dinar (parallel to the one dollar bill in USD)

10,000 dinars => 10 dinars (parallel to the paper currency of the ten dollar bill in the USD)

20,000 dinars => 20 dinars (parallel to the 20 dollar bill)

50,000 dinars => 50 dinars (parallel to the 50 dollar bill)

25,000 dinars => has no comparison to US currency and most likely will be done away with in favor of currency parallel to the 100 dollar bill)

Now why would Iraq do this? Because the Iraqis' main form of currency, at this time, is the USD. This means when they do remove the zeros, RV or not, there will be no need to educate the Iraqis on the denominations in their currency. It would be like the Iraqis have always used the dinars going forward.

Lastly, there has been talk on this subject going back to before, years before, the pandemic. Some of us knew they would be implementing new denominations, most likely the 20,000 and 100,000 denominations so that the currency was more on par, denomination wise, to the USD after the RV since Iraqis use mainly the USD today.

This was foreseen as to happen and there is a lot more to this subject than just implementing the 20,000 dinar note. So sit back and enjoy life as we await the RV event to come Iraq's way. One other note, a 3.63 to 1 RV would be great but it is a pipe dream. There is no chance when the RV happens that it would come out at that amount as the IMF would not allow it in a tumultuous Iraq. In addition, the dinar even when it was artificially inflated was not worth that amount, 3.63 to 1, and really only worth about 1.65 per dinar, if that, at its highest point.

Well at least they have some sort of documents unlike those that "do not walk over the Southern US border". (I guess they float/climb over.)
