And the government statement, which {Euphrates News} received a copy of, said: "During the meeting, bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries were discussed, ways of developing them, regional issues and files of common interest." 
 
The meeting stressed, according to the statement, "the importance of consolidating joint cooperation at various levels and levels between Iraq and Kuwait, increasing economic cooperation and investment, and activating the Iraqi-Kuwaiti Joint Ministerial Committee, in a manner that enhances the interests of the peoples of the two brotherly countries in prosperity and development."

{Political: Al Furat News} Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi met today, Wednesday, French President Emmanuel Macron, as part of his bilateral meetings on the sidelines of his participation in the United Nations General Assembly meetings held in New York.

The meeting discussed bilateral relations between the two friendly countries and ways of developing them in various fields and levels, as well as a number of regional and international issues and files of common interest.

The meeting dealt with prospects of joint cooperation between the two countries in the fields of security and combating terrorism, and the emphasis on strengthening economic cooperation in various fields, foremost of which are energy, renewable energy, and investment.

The meeting discussed the necessity of preparing for the holding of the Baghdad 2 Conference for Cooperation and Partnership, as well as Iraq's prominent role in the region and its efforts to enhance security in it through a policy of calm and convergence of views, in a way that enhances the stability of Iraq and the region and the prosperity of its peoples.

The meeting also witnessed a discussion of Al-Kazemi's efforts to find outlets to solve the current political crisis, and the national dialogue initiative for which the French president expressed his support, stressing the need to urge Iraqi political forces towards communication and dialogue within the political process and the auspices of the constitution.

{Political: Al-Furat News} Foreign Minister Fouad Hussein announced the end of the fifth round of Saudi-Iranian talks and the creation of conditions for a future round in the capital, Baghdad.

Hussein said in a press statement on the sidelines of his participation in the Iraqi delegation in the United Nations General Assembly meeting currently being held in New York: "There is a discussion that the next session between Riyadh and Tehran will be at a level other than foreign ministers, and we seek to develop our relations with the United States and our relations with Iran are good."

He added, "Turkey is an important neighbor, and we have common interests, and we have to reach understandings," stressing "the need to develop our relations with Turkey on the basis that they are based on common understanding."

"We are discussing with Ankara ways to get rid of the armed action of the PKK," Hussein said, stressing that "the issue of the armed action of the PKK cannot be resolved with violence and weapons."

He pointed out that "the US military presence in Iraq is within the framework of training and consultation."

The Minister of Foreign Affairs revealed that "negotiations are underway with the political organizations and we are heading to hold a session of Parliament soon. We hope to reach an agreement with the Sadrist movement to be part of the government."

He explained, "We are suffering in forming the new government, and there are conflicts between the Shiite party blocs, and there is progress in negotiations between the various Iraqi forces."

{Political: Al-Furat News} The US State Department responded to the possibility of holding a meeting and President Joseph Biden's meeting with Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly meeting currently being held in New York.

The US State Department spokesman in the Middle East, Samuel Werberg, said in a press statement: “The details available to me, I do not have any details or expectations about a meeting between President Biden and Prime Minister Al-Kazemi, but President Biden spoke to Al-Kazemi two weeks ago, after all the violence that we witnessed. In the streets of Baghdad.
He added, "We will continue our contacts. President Biden's time here in New York is limited, but the important thing is that we have daily contacts, whether through our embassy in Baghdad or through the Iraqi embassy here in Washington, meaning that there is constant communication between the two governments at all levels."

Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi discussed, on Friday, with the Vice President of the World Bank, ways to confront global challenges.   

  

 

The Media Office of the Prime Minister stated in a statement that "Nass" received a copy of it (September 23, 2022), that "the meeting reviewed the most important aspects of cooperation between Iraq and the World Bank in the financial and economic fields, and in the field of providing studies, consultations and data."   

  

He explained that "the meeting touched on the positive growth in the Iraqi economy, success in facing the challenges caused by global crises, the failure of supply chains, and the effects of the Corona pandemic."   

  

According to the statement, the Prime Minister affirmed, "Iraq's determination to continue the economic reform curriculum, lay strong foundations for sustainable development, and create an attractive investment environment."   

  

He also stressed the importance of "cooperating with the World Bank in the areas of modernizing the country's water policy and food security projects."

Fouad Hussein meets his Saudi counterpart during the New York meetings

Foreign Minister Fouad Hussein discussed with his Saudi counterpart Prince Faisal bin Farhan the bilateral relations between the two countries, on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly meetings in New York.   

 

  

A statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, of which Nass received a copy (September 22, 2022), stated that "Foreign Minister Fouad Hussein and his Saudi counterpart Prince Faisal bin Farhan are discussing bilateral relations between the two countries and ways to advance them to serve the interests of the two brotherly peoples."

On Thursday, Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi discussed several files during his meeting with the Secretary-General of NATO, Jens Stoltenberg, on the sidelines of participation in the United Nations General Assembly meetings in New York.   

 

  

  

The media office of the Prime Minister said in a statement that "Nass" received a copy of it (September 22, 2022), that "Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi met today, Thursday, in New York, the Secretary-General of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) Jens Stoltenberg, on the sidelines of Participation in the meetings of the United Nations General Assembly.  

  

The statement added, "The meeting reviewed the efforts of the Iraqi forces in combating terrorism and pursuing its remnants, and the successes they achieved on the ground, which were positively reflected on the consolidation of security and stability in Iraq and the region."  

  

He continued, "The meeting witnessed a discussion of enhancing means of security and military cooperation between Iraq and NATO countries, which provide assistance to the Iraqi forces in the field of training and advice."  


According to the statement, the two sides expressed "the common desire to continue and expand cooperation, to consolidate security and information exchange, and to support Iraq's efforts to spread calm in the region."

Al-Kadhimi meets in New York with United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres

On Friday, Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi discussed the situation in Iraq with United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres.   

 

  

The Media Office of the Prime Minister stated in a statement that "Nass" received a copy of it (September 23, 2022), that "the meeting discussed the situation in Iraq and the government's efforts to mitigate political differences by adopting the National Dialogue Initiative between the political forces."   

  

According to the statement, "the Secretary-General of the United Nations praised the role of the Prime Minister in maintaining civil peace in Iraq and supporting his initiative in the national dialogue between the political forces."   

  

He also discussed "the file of education in Iraq, and the government's keenness to improve it and develop the infrastructure by starting to build 1,000 schools across Iraq as a first stage."   

  

The meeting also dealt with "the drought file, and its great effects in Iraq."   

  

Guterres affirmed his "rejection of the attacks that affect the sovereignty of Iraq, his affirmation of support for Iraq's unity, and his refusal to interfere in its internal affairs."

Iraq and Saudi Arabia discuss bilateral relations and ways to reduce tensions in the region

On Friday, Foreign Minister Fouad Hussein discussed with his Saudi counterpart Prince Faisal bin Farhan the bilateral relations between the two countries and ways to advance them to serve the interests of the two peoples.  

  

A statement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, a copy of which was received by “Nass”, (September 23, 2022), stated that “Fouad Hussein, the Iraqi Minister of Foreign Affairs, met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Prince Faisal bin Farhan, in the context of the work of the 77th session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York, and the They discussed bilateral relations between the two countries and ways to advance them to serve the interests of the two brotherly peoples. The two sides also discussed Iraq's efforts to calm the situation and reduce tension between Riyadh and Tehran.  

  

Hussein stressed that "Iraq is keen to establish the best relations with the various countries of the world, especially the Arab countries, and the neighborhood, in order to activate common interests and confront common dangers," noting "the importance of concerted efforts to restore stability to the region through dialogue, and not to adopt indiscriminate views." The interior ministry of countries, stressing the need for security coordination to combat the remnants of ISIS terrorist gangs.  

  

For his part, the Saudi Foreign Minister affirmed that "his country supports the unity and stability of Iraq," noting that "the tension in the region calls for more efforts, and everyone's contribution to finding peaceful solutions that restore security and stability."
