A leader in law: Al-Sudani is the only candidate for the framework, and we do not find the need to change him

{Political: Al-Furat News} A leader in the State of Law coalition confirmed that the coordinating framework adhered to its candidate, MP Muhammad Shia Al-Sudani, for prime minister.

Kazem al-Haidari told {Euphrates News}: "There is political certainty that salvation from complex and thorny events is through proceeding with the formation of the government."

He added, "Until now, the only candidate for the coordination framework is Muhammad Shiaa al-Sudani, and we do not find the need to change him because he has won the acceptance of the framework's parties."

Al-Haidari pointed out that "there will be discussions and developments for the parliamentary blocs, taking into account all the observations, but so far Al-Sudani is the only candidate for the framework."

On Monday and Tuesday, the capital, Baghdad, and other provinces witnessed armed clashes, especially in the Green Zone.

The Sadrist movement rejects the nomination of the coordination framework, Muhammad Shia Al-Sudani, to head the government, and demands the dissolution of the House of Representatives and the holding of early elections, while the framework adheres to forming a government after it has become a majority following the resignation of the current representatives from Parliament.

Disagreements between the Iraqi forces have prevented the formation of a government since the last elections were held on October 10, 2021.

The Federal Supreme Court has set, next Wednesday, the date for issuing a decision regarding the case for dissolving Parliament submitted by the Sadrist movement.

To many Sadrist citizens killed the other day and not enough Iranians. Maliki sees no reason to change anything at the moment and is trying to move to form the government without Sadr.
I’m beginning to wonder if new elections would work, Iran would have the same people on the ballot.
Not sure where the police and military was last week when all the shooting started but it’s obvious there was no crowd control.
My belief now is nothing is gonna change until Al-Sadr organizes and arms his militia to run the Iranians out of Iraq…

The PUK reveals a file more important than the Presidency of the Republic

{Political: Al Furat News} The Patriotic Union of Kurdistan revealed, today, Saturday, a file that is more important than the issue of resolving the presidency, and it is the file that is still thorny between the two Kurdish parties.

The leader of the Union, Sherzad Samad, told {Euphrates News}, "The holding of parliament sessions to pave the way for political dialogue and to resolve issues of concern to the state and legislative administration is more important than the file of the Presidency of the Republic," noting that after "solving these problems, we can talk about the Presidency of the Republic."

He added that "the formation of the government and taking into account the political demands is very important to satisfy all parties and the street as well."

Shafaq News/ An informed source in the coordination framework, which brings together Shiite political forces, revealed today, Saturday, that the leaders of the framework agreed to postpone raising the issue of the parliament's return until after the end of the fortieth visit.

The source told Shafaq News Agency, "The leaders of the coordination framework agreed, during a meeting of them, which was held, during the past hours, at the house of the leader of the State of Law coalition, Nuri al-Maliki, to postpone raising the issue of the parliament's return until after the end of the fortieth visit of Imam Hussein."

And he indicated that "this agreement came in order not to provoke the leader of the Sadrist movement, Muqtada al-Sadr and his supporters, who could take to the street again to thwart any parliament session intended to proceed with the process of forming the new government, and for this this issue was postponed in order not to escalate with the Sadrists."

For his part, the representative of the State of Law coalition, Hussein Mardan, said in a press statement that the next parliament session will be postponed until after the fortieth anniversary of Imam Hussein, stressing that dialogues with other blocs regarding the formation of the government are continuing.

He added that contacts are now underway with the Kurdish blocs for the purpose of speeding up the nomination of the President of the Republic, pointing to the coordination framework's adherence to the nomination of the Sudanese prime minister.

The Coordination Framework Forces Alliance held a meeting last night at the home of the head of the State of Law coalition, Nuri al-Maliki, to discuss the course of developments in political and security events.

Tensions escalated sharply on Monday, August 29, when Sadr loyalists stormed the government palace inside the fortified Green Zone after their leader announced his "retirement" from politics.

But Sadr's supporters left the Green Zone on the afternoon of Tuesday, August 30, 2022, after he personally asked them to withdraw within an hour, reflecting his great influence on his followers and which earned him his reputation as a ruler.

Baghdad - people

Member of the Supreme Council for the National Union, Mullah Bakhtiar, said on Monday that his party is going through the "worst conditions" since the "Hakkari setback" in its early founding in the mid-seventies.

Mullah Bakhtiar added in a recorded video followed by "Nas" (September 5, 2022), in response to an audio recording attributed to the head of the National Union, Bafel Talabani, in which he accused Mullah Bakhtiar of "atheism and insulting the divine." "The words that Pavel spoke are aimed at collecting votes in the upcoming elections in Kurdistan."

The coordination framework sets the date of its next meeting to discuss the resumption of parliament sessions

722 Policy 9/10/2022 12:48 Baghdad today _

Baghdad Today, Saturday, the leader in the coordination framework, Turki Al-Atabi, revealed the date of the first sessions of the framework after the Arbaeen visit.

Al-Otbi told (Baghdad Today), "It is expected that the first sessions of the coordination framework will be on September 20, that is, after the end of the Arbaeen visit ceremony."

He added, "The meeting, which will be in the presence of the leaders of the coordination framework, will directly discuss the resumption of parliament sessions because of their importance in Iraqi affairs, because the parliament is a representative of all spectrums and components, and through it laws can be enacted and all initiatives discussed and corrected," noting that "the parliament's paralysis does not serve any political party." ".

He pointed out that "the beginning of the end of Iraq's political crisis begins with the return of parliament sessions," stressing that the framework "will press in this direction with the presence of great support for this path by the rest of the political forces, whether Kurdish, Sunni, or the rest of the other spectra."

Earlier, a source close to the coordination framework confirmed the suspension of its consultative sessions in conjunction with the approaching of the Arbaeen visit to the martyrdom of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him .

Al-Sadr proposes solutions and the "framework" is continuing to announce his government

3,687 Policy 2022/09/09 23:14 Baghdad today - Baghdad

Through his initiative, he tried to find a solution to the current crisis and to hold all Iraqi political parties responsible for what is happening in the country.

It seems that the leader of the Sadrist movement, Muqtada al-Sadr, has resolved his position on finding a political solution to the current crisis in Iraq, through a clear vision that includes the form of the government that oversees early elections, which represent a major demand on his part to resolve the crisis.

Al-Sadr stated in a statement to his minister his refusal to return to the current Iraqi parliament, even if by legal means, as it represents a political blockage if it returns, according to al-Sadr, who renewed his refusal to agree with the coordination framework and considered it currently prohibited.

But what is new in Al-Sadr’s statement is throwing the ball into the court of his Kurdish and Sunni allies in the Sovereignty Alliance in the file of dissolving parliament, without the Sadrist bloc returning to the House of Representatives, stressing that their withdrawal, as well as the independents, will lose the parliament’s legitimacy and will be dissolved directly.

Al-Kazemi's survival

Al-Sadr continued in his statement, referring to his desire for the survival of the current Prime Minister, Mustafa Al-Kazemi, and the President of the Republic, Barham Salih, that "the solution will be patriotic with the President and the Prime Minister remaining at the head of a caretaker government and supervising early elections or with the help of others, Iraqis or internationals."

In his statement, Al-Sadr renewed his sharp criticism of the Iraqi judiciary, when he stressed that the solution and the contract are not with the "politicized judiciary", nor with the "fearful courts", nor with the "withdrawing Sadrist bloc."

New initiative

On the other hand, Al-Sadr tried, through his initiative to find a solution to the current crisis, to hold all Iraqi political parties responsible for what is happening in the country, and to get himself out of the dock of causing the political crisis since the end of the elections until he withdrew his representatives, which led to a complete blockage of the Iraqi political scene with no light at the end of the tunnel .

It seems that the coordinating framework is continuing in its vision to form an Iraqi government away from al-Sadr and impose his will, which led to large protests in the country from supporters of the Sadrist movement, to violent clashes between his supporters and the Shiite factions affiliated with the coordinating framework, which caused the killing and wounding of dozens and a great crack that is difficult to reconcile in The popular Shiite community.

Al-Kazemi's dismissal

The representative of the State of Law, Muhammad Al-Sihoud, believes that the solution lies in the convening of the House of Representatives and the formation of a government other than Al-Kazemi’s government, while holding early elections under Al-Kazemi’s government will generate a new crisis.

He says, "What we want from the elections is to make real reforms, correct the wrong path, and get out of the crisis."

Chihod explains that "returning to the same conditions, atmosphere, devices, election law and the commission do not correct the tracks, but rather we enter into a crisis," pointing out that holding early elections in the same government and the previous mechanism will question its results and then enter into another cycle by holding other elections and another.

The court ended the dispute

In a related context, the representative of the state of law continues that the constitutional frameworks do not allow the dissolution of the House of Representatives by the President of the Republic or the Prime Minister, and the court said that this matter is within the competence of the House of Representatives, noting that the solution is for the House of Representatives to convene to form the government according to a one-year time period Or a year and a half during which the election law is changed and then early elections are held.

It seems that the position of the State of Law rejected al-Sadr's initiative, and this matter expresses the position of most leaders and movements of the coordination framework that insist on forming a new government, and then talk about setting a date for early elections.

step to solve

On the other hand, the director of the Center for Political Thinking, Ihsan Al-Shammari, believes that what Al-Sadr proposed is a step towards a solution, while he ruled out that the right-wing forces would agree to it within the coordinating framework.

He says that al-Sadr's proposal represents a step towards a solution, and such solutions must be dealt with, as they came on the grounds that the President of the Republic was characterized by moderation and rationality, and his recent speech laid out a road map for early elections and constitutional amendments, and did not speak on a political side.

He pointed out that Al-Sadr presents the solution to the framework after there was a problem about the inability to obtain consensus about a personality and the inability to achieve two-thirds to elect the president.

Maliki and the factions

Regarding the position of the coordination framework on Al-Sadr’s proposal, Al-Shammari explains that “the majority of the framework may deal positively, whether it is the left and center of the framework, and discuss this matter, but it is not likely that the forces of the far right in the framework who represent the state of law, Asa’ib Ahl al-Haq and the armed factions will agree to Al-Kazemi’s survival.” Pointing out that Al-Sadr offers political solutions and may embarrass the far right.

Despite the talk about the necessity of political dialogue to resolve the Iraqi crisis, the continuation of the political deadlock and the refusal of the coordination framework for any initiative of al-Sadr may restore the green scene of clashes and deepen the differences between Shiite circles and make the armed conflict the closest to the two parties.

The framework rejects the initiative

Political researcher Ali Bader rules out that the coordination framework will agree that Al-Kazemi will remain in his position to manage matters until early elections are held, while he expected that the situation in the country would lead to chaos and violence if the “framework” forces did not convince Al-Sadr of her step to form a government.

And he says, "The node of the coordinating framework is Al-Kazemi, and it is possible that these forces sacrifice their position and do not keep him in the position as prime minister, because they believe that he has undermined their influence and she refuses that Al-Kazemi be her choice in the next stage," indicating that what Al-Sadr proposed cannot be achieved and cannot agree. It powers the "frame" so easily.

Al-Baydar suggested that these solutions will remain in their context and their formal concept until the forces of the “framework” or the current accept a certain consensus in this regard, pointing out that there are no middle solutions in the equation because everyone is clinging to their positions and the compromise that we see is the formation of the “framework” of the government as the bloc winner. A government without al-Sadr

Al-Baydar ruled out the ability of the "framework" to form a government, and that its formation without al-Sadr's desire would be considered a risk and a declaration of war against al-Sadr, in addition to the fact that parliament cannot convene while it is surrounded.

Regarding the possibility of the external factor playing a role in the process of forming the government, Bader stated that "the external factor has lost the compass of control and lost its capabilities on the Iraqi scene, and if there was an external influence, the government would have been formed and the crisis would have ended."

The coordination framework absolved its responsibility from an account bearing the name “Minister of the Framework” on the social media platforms.

And a statement issued today, about the coordination framework, said: “An account has recently spread in the name of (the framework minister), whose affiliation we do not know and the party behind it.”

The framework statement noted that “this account is fictitious and the framework has nothing to do with it.”

Earlier, the leader in the framework, Ali Al-Fatlawi, told Shafaq News Agency, "The so-called (Frame Minister) page does not represent any of the forces and leaders of the Shiite coordination framework, and does not express the viewpoint of these parties, stressing that it is" a fake page that we do not know. To whom it belongs and where it is managed.

Al-Fatlawi also indicated that “the page (of the framework minister), may be behind it parties that are working to stir up sedition and disagreement more with the Sadrist movement, stressing that it is” a page that does not represent the views of the leaders and blocs of the framework.

Al-Fatlawi called on the competent security and judicial authorities to follow this page and other fake pages that want to stir up sedition and ignite a civil war, he said.

During the past weeks, this account has been active, to publish political trends and opinions claiming to represent the viewpoint of the coordination framework, similar to the “Minister of the Leader” account, which represents the orientations of the leader of the Sadrist movement, Muqtada al-Sadr, which the latter recognized earlier.
