Remember, no one really  knows what will happen, or when. They're simply stating  their opinions based on what they perceive to be happening in Iraq... :twothumbs:RON

*** Pimpy ...numbers on the 'back screen', 800#s, redemption centers, military people that watch the currency exchange, tier 1, tier 2, tier 3..  It's not real.  It's all B.S...If we cannot get a stable government with a stable economy...you're not going to see any kind of major exchange rate change happen unfortunately...

*** Mnt Goat ...I can wholeheartedly tell you that – Yes and Yes that I know for a fact and without a doubt that the reinstatement has to happen and will happenHow do I know? #1. Reinstatement was in a long term 5 year plan given from the CBI in 2011...it was supposed to be all done by 2016. #2. Dr Shabibi, the then governor of the CBI, attempted to reinstate the dinar on FOREX and complete the project to delete the zeros in 2013 as part of the 2011 plan, only the corrupt Nori Al-Maliki, then the prime minster, stopped it with his raid on the CBI...This is what Sadr is trying to fix...and why the new govt can’t get formed. [post 1 of 2]

*** Mnt Goat  #3. In 2019...they came out with the “White Paper” in which it specifically says to go to FOREX#4. In talking to my CBI contact, I was told that it was targeted for Jan 2022 but due to the election issues they held it up hoping the government would be formed and stable. So, this is where we are today. We sit and wait for the new government. [post 2 of 2]

*** Nader From The Mid East   About the Iraqi dinar no news for now.  It's a mess.  The country is not stable.  It's actually destabilized a little bit now.  We see what's going on two weeks from now.  There's no promises.  There is not news about the exchange rate.  There's nothing...keep your head on your shoulders...it's a waiting game so let's wait...

*** Samson  Article: "The average salary in Iraq is 600 dollars and in other countries is six thousandQuote: "Iraq ranked 62nd out of a list of 105 countries in terms of the average net monthly salary of an employee of $600 in Iraq..."

*** Militiaman  Article: "The Central Bank of Iraq organizes a visit to a media delegation" The AMF on the same day had meetings on similar issues...with the likes of the World Bank, Bank of International Settlements, International institutions, etc...There are no coincidences in these meeting coinciding with each other.. imo.. I like what we are seeing.  Inter-connectivity is coming...:twothumbs:

*** Walkingstick  [Iraqi bank gentlemen in US banks update] Are these banks [CBI satellite banks in the US] for you In all honesty you can use them. But you got to remember they're under American banking laws so don't be trying to think you can put Iraqi dinars in these bank accounts. The only thing you can put in is American dollars...they'll gladly take those 3-zero notes from you. They'll gladly convert it.  Whatever rate they give you knock yourself out.
