{Local: Al Furat News} Nineveh Governor Najm al-Jubouri announced, on Thursday, the date for the start of work on the Mosul International Airport project.

The governor's media office stated that {Al-Furat News} received a copy of it, that "the latter visited Mosul Airport, accompanied by a number of department directors, the airport director and the representative of the Civil Aviation Authority."

The statement explained that "the site was received by the companies implementing the airport reconstruction and development project," and the officials confirmed "that they are about to start work with all their logistical and human weight and the mechanisms that have been prepared for this purpose, starting next week, after the site has been prepared and cleaned completely."
