What did these people expect to happen when all there is , is TALK & NO ACTION !!!

Did they expect spontaneous Safety Dances to break out or Punch & Judy Puppet shows to spring up with laughter & applause!?!?!?!

Now we have to have an investigation & wisdom & logic with serious dialogue.

They're NOT interested in solving problems, just waiting for the armed conflict so they can shut it all down, then they can continue right along with the status quo.

I don't believe they would have had all these deaths & injuries if Sadr would have stayed on course instead of running as a chicken from his supporters of the cause. I feel its his fault  for the deaths of the people. It seems when they have pressure he wants to run tail the other direction scared for his own life from Iran instead of staying on course.  What a shame for the people. If he was not going to follow through then he never should have started. JMO

Is the U.S. Losing Control of Iraq? Protesters Ransack Presidential Palace

image.png.4405adf994c75c0e8730c8dad49d967d.png

Our old “friend” Muqtada al Sadr aka Mookie announced he is withdrawing from Iraqi politics and his supporters stormed the Presidential Palace in the Green Zone and are threatening the U.S. Embassy. The situation is chaotic. There are some reports that the United States Embassy is being evacuated via  helicopters. There is a contradictory report claiming the Americans are still hunkered down in the Embassy.

Kuwait asks citizens to leave Iraq amid Baghdad unrest

Protests are happening throughout Iraq following cleric Muqtada al-Sadr's announcement declaring he has given up on politics.

August 29, 2022

Kuwait’s embassy in Baghdad asked citizens today to leave Iraq due to the political unrest in the country, the official Kuwait News Agency reported.

What happened: The Iraqi capital, Baghdad, has been rocked by protests for days. Many of the protesters are supporters of the influential Shiite cleric Muqtada al-Sadr. The Sadrists are angry at the rival Coordination Framework’s actions vis-a-vis a new government formation and oppose the alliance’s nominee for prime minister. The Coordination Framework consists of Shiite parties that are opposed to Sadr. It includes former Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki's State of Law Coalition and political parties affiliated with Iran-backed militias.

Iraq held an election last October in which the Sadrist movement received the most votes. However, politicians have been unable to form a government since then.

The situation escalated today when Sadr announced his resignation from politics. Though Sadr has claimed to retire before, his supporters protested in Baghdad and stormed the government palace. Clashes between them and security forces as well as rival militias led to 10 deaths by 11:00 pm local time, according to The Associated Press

There have been protests in other Iraqi cities as well, including Basra in the south.

Know more: Gulf News reported that the Dubai-based airline Emirates suspended flights over Baghdad due to security concerns, though spokespeople for Emirates did not immediately reply to Al-Monitor's request for comment. The US Embassy in Baghdad denied rumors it evacuated its embassy in the city, according to Kurdistan 24

The Iraqi news outlet Shafaq reported that the Dutch Embassy in Baghdad's Green Zone evacuated and moved its personnel to the German Embassy. The embassy itself has not confirmed this.

And how many protestors who Were Not  followers of Sadr  were shot and killed randomly back in like 2019 by Iranian Goons? Maliki and Iran were instructing their guards to pick them off one at a time in random fashion to try to scare them. Iran is their worst enemy and they know it!

Perhaps Sadr supporters can return the favor this time around. Ya know, turn about fair play.

One of these days it's all gotta catch up to Tater... he's done such terrible damage to Iraq, I gotta believe there's a group in the shadows planning his demise.

He's certainly must be the most hated man in Iraq.

Maybe this time around it'll be different: nothing will stop the people of Iraq from taking their country back & kicking the Iranian influence out once & for all.

2019 is a painful memory. They've had 4 years to " reflect "... they've been pushed too far this time. These criminal politicians are stalling calling for wisdom & talk: they have no solutions is obvious. If they're smart they should be scared. 1st 2019, now 2022.

He continued, "The developments of events impose on the national forces a double responsibility to rise above differences in favor of what is more precious and valuable, for the sake of the country, prevent violence and spare the precious blood of Iraqis, adopt careful positions that protect the homeland, and preserve the peaceful, democratic, constitutional path for which our people sacrificed dearly and preciously. It should not be neglected under any circumstances.”

me_ga.php?id=40746

Earlier today, Shiite authority Kazem Al-Haeri issued a statement declaring religious retirement as a reference, attributing the matter to his health condition, while at the same time recommending to his followers to follow Ali Khamenei's reference in Iran.

Al-Hairi stated in a statement received by “Nass” (August 29, 2022), “not continuing to confront the reference due to illness and advancing age,” saying: “One of the necessities of carrying out this great responsibility is the availability of physical health and the ability to follow up on the affairs of the nation, but today, when My health and physical strength are deteriorating due to illness and advancing age, and I feel that it is preventing me from fulfilling the duties placed on my shoulders - as I used to perform them before - in a way that does not achieve perfection and satisfaction.”

He added, "Therefore, I announce not to continue to address this heavy and heavy responsibility, to drop all agencies and permissions issued by us or by our offices, and not to receive any legitimate rights from our agents and representatives on our behalf as of the date of this announcement."

Al-Haeri called on the "believers" to "obey the guardian, the leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ali Khamenei," noting that he is "the most worthy and most qualified to lead the nation and manage the conflict with the forces of oppression and arrogance in these circumstances in which the forces of infidelity and evil have battled against the original Muhammadan Islam."

Following is the text of the statement:

A statement by His Eminence Sayyid Al-Haeri announcing that he will not continue to confront the reference due to illness and advancing age

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Praise be to God by the weight of His Throne, the ink of His words, and what His Book has enumerated and His knowledge encompasses. And prayers and peace be upon the Prophet of God, who was sent as a mercy to the worlds, Muhammad bin Abdullah, and his pure family.

God Almighty said in the court of His book: “God does not burden a soul beyond its capacity” Surah Al-Baqarah: verse: 286. Believe God Almighty.

There is no doubt that one of the most important responsibilities and the greatest trusts in the era of the absence of the Imam Al-Hujjah (may God Almighty hasten his reappearance) is the responsibility of the jurists who meet the conditions of the nation’s affairs and protect its interests in general and in particular, through issuing fatwas and clarifying the legal rulings, and giving instructions and directions, and everything that would preserve its entity, its dignity and its dignity. risks reported.

And after God Almighty enabled me to be a student at the hands of my teacher, the Great Ayatollah, the martyred master Muhammad Baqir al-Sadr (may God be pleased with him), I assumed this responsibility and did my best to achieve the goals for which he was martyred, to the extent of my ability, and to sponsor Islamic work in the Iraq of Al-Hussein (peace be upon him) and support authentic Islam. And protecting the believers, especially the Iraqi society, from the machinations of foreign colonizers.

It is clear that one of the necessities of carrying out this great responsibility is the availability of physical health and the ability to follow the affairs of the nation, but today, when my health and physical strength are deteriorating due to illness and advancing age, I feel that it prevents me from performing the duties placed on my shoulders - as I used to perform them before - In a manner that does not achieve perfection and satisfaction, therefore, I declare not to continue to address this heavy and great responsibility, to drop all agencies and permissions issued by us or by our offices, and not to receive any legitimate rights by our agents and representatives on our behalf as of the date of this announcement.

I must have some last words to recommend to my faithful children:

First: All believers must obey the leader, the leader of the Islamic Revolution, His Eminence Grand Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei (may his shadow be long), because his Eminence is the best and most qualified to lead the nation and manage the struggle with the forces of oppression and arrogance in these circumstances in which the forces of infidelity and evil have fought against the original Muhammadan Islam.

Second: I advise my children in our beloved Iraq to do the following:

A- Preserving unity and harmony among them and not making room for colonialism, Zionism and their agents by igniting the fire of sedition and strife among believers, and knowing that their common enemy is America, Zionism and their cowards, so let them be tough against the infidels and merciful among them.

B - The liberation of Iraq from any foreign occupation and from any presence of any security or military force, especially the American forces that perched on the chest of our wounded Iraq under various pretexts, and not allowing them to remain in Iraq, the country of sacred things, and that keeping them is one of the greatest prohibitions in God Almighty, as we have clarified. in previous data.

C- I call upon those who stand up to positions and responsibilities to carry out their legitimate functions that they pledged to the people to fulfill, and to stay away from narrow personal and factional interests, which have inflicted calamities on the oppressed Iraqi people. This is security for them, pride for the people, and stability for the country.

D- Scholars, religious seminary students, cultural elites, and conscious and sincere writers should work to educate the people, so that they can distinguish between enemy and friend and realize the reality of their interests and so that they will not be overlooked and belittled and disobeyed from them in what they do not know and do not benefit them, and so that they become acquainted with the machinations and conspiracies of the enemies, or their origins. At least they do not fall prey to their malicious and misguided goals.

E- The sons of the two martyrs (may God sanctify their secret) must know that the love of the two martyrs is not sufficient unless faith is combined with their approach to righteous work and true adherence to their goals for which they sacrificed themselves. (May God be pleased with them both), or he addresses the leadership in their name while he lacks ijtihad or the rest of the conditions required for legal leadership, then he is - in fact - not a Sadrist, no matter what he claims or affiliation with.

f- I recommend to all believers in our holy mobilization that it must be supported and supported as an independent force that is not integrated into all other forces, for it is the fortified fortress, the striking hand and the force majeure for those stalking the security of the country and the interests of its people alongside the rest of the Iraqi armed forces, as we have repeatedly stated and affirmed.
