Remember, no one really  knows what will happen, or when. They're simply stating  their opinions based on what they perceive to be happening in Iraq... :twothumbs:RON

*** Tivon   [Response to Humble1 below]  There is no middle ground when you violate the constitution. The law [ESFL} should have never made it to the Gazette if his "argument" was legit. Mazhar Muhammad Saleh said specifically that it can't be challenged by anyone in the government because it's tied to entitlements which are connected to the constitution...The Gazette is the ground from which all laws can be proven legal/illegal simply by it being published in it or not.

*** Frank26   We're going to see a new exchange rate of the currency through Kazemi's government and IMO parliament will eventually be dissolved.  Just like Kuwait...dissolved their parliament for a very good reason.  This will be good for Iraq... Kazemi will have a caretaker government with all the powers behind it...that dissolvement gives Kazemi majority rule.  This will give Kazemi full power for two years.  And that's good.  No body will be able to do or say anything against him.  That's a good amount of time IMO for the monetary and economic reforms.

***  Humble1  Article:  "Is it possible to dissolve parliament ? the EFSL - Yes it is law, but only because it has not gotten disputed and a suit filed with the courts, technically the law is unconstitutional, this article states that fact in black and white, not that I think it is, I rather like the law, as it helps Iraq, but none the less unconstitutional...the current government is the caretaker of daily affairs, and it does not have the constitutional legitimacy for that, according to Article (64-second) and according to the Federal Supreme Court’s decision No. 121 / Federal / 2022,  [Post 1 of 2....Reposted]

*** Humble1   I personally like the law, and until it is challenged in court it is law, and legal.  No one objected because they also like the law, apparently.  It may never be taken to court, who knows. But the author of the article made a legitimate argument, the law should it be brought before the court would be found to be unconstitutional ...I really hope no one does object to the law, because it is good for Iraq, and in a very round about way, good for the dinar investors like myself and others.  [Post 2 of 2] Reposted
