The money just keeps on rolling into Iraq.

Treat as a rumor.  Not verified.  Your opine.

Bond Lady's Corner:

Article:   Increased Oil Production Will Allow An Additional $300 Million To Iraq Per Month.

Finance Minister Al Saadi said in a press statement.  He confirmed that increased oil production for the OPEC countries be 100,000 barrels per day will provide Iraq with the amounts that may exceed $300 million per month or an additional $1.2 Billion annually.

If true, one could consider, that that might be used to RV. But hey, I have only been invested since ‘07. What do I know?

Agree.  Mass wealth from oil revenues are disappearing as Iraqis starve.  Until the corruption problem is dealt with, we can forget the RV-RI in near future.  IMO.

here's another article related to the above...will high oil output quotas help Iraq pay for the RV-RI?

MarkZ:

Article:  What!  If Iraq goes it alone.  I am still told that even if Iraq goes it alone (no GCR) even if there is a float, our rate is still covered by a contract/treaty, set higher then it will initially come out at, I was told $2 more per Dinar.

WalkingStick:

Article:  The AMF (Arab Monetary Fund) wants the IQD in the Middle East basket.  That's why you saw the SDR being worked on.  Somebody's doing something.  The one who's doing something is Kazemi.
