The crowds of demonstrators began to withdraw from the demonstration site, near the suspension bridge, after the invitation of the Secretary-General of Asa'ib Ahl al-Haq Qais Khazali.

Earlier, the leader of Asa'ib Ahl al-Haq, Qais al-Khazali, demanded that the demonstrators of the framework forces return to their homes

Khazali said in an audio recording, followed by "Nas" (August 1, 2022): "The streets were filled with huge numbers of demonstrators, so go back to your homes."

Earlier, the Secretary-General of Asa'ib Ahl al-Haq movement, Qais Khazali, directed the demonstrators of the coordination framework not to progress inside the Green Zone .

Al-Khazali said in an audio recording followed by "Nass" (1 August 2022), "Your exit was not against a person or group, but rather your exit was for the sake of Iraq, all of Iraq, its government, its parliament and its people, so let your chant be for the sake of Iraq only and do not be exposed to anything else." .

He added, "Know that the reference is now following you and all Iraqis, but rather the whole world is following you, so reflect the bright reality to which you belong and represent, and you are the sons of the reference, the sons of the crowd and the resistance, and the sons of (Al-Shayeb) with your peaceful demonstrations."

And he continued, "And do not allow anyone to bypass the security forces and do not advance an inch inside the Green Zone, and let your message be one united, but you went out for the sake of Iraq only."

And launched earlier, a demonstration of supporters of the coordination framework in the vicinity of the Green Zone in the center of the capital, Baghdad .

These demonstrations come, according to the coordination framework, "to support legitimacy and preserve state institutions."

The coordination framework confirmed, earlier, that it did not allow a "coup against legitimacy", pointing to the possibility of amending the constitution in accordance with the constitutional frameworks

And the framework stated in a statement that “People” received a copy of it (July 31, 2022), “with a sense of legitimate and national responsibility and the importance of the historical moment that Iraq is going through, the coordinating framework continues to call for dialogue with all political forces, especially the brothers of the Sadrist movement, while we unfortunately see an escalation.” The continuous and unfortunate development of events reached the point of calling for a coup against the people, the state and its institutions, the political process, the constitution and the elections.

He added, "It is a dangerous matter that brings back to memory the bloody revolutions that Iraq experienced during the decades of dictatorship before the change," noting that "the Iraqi people who provided millions of martyrs, prisoners and displaced people and filled mass graves with the bodies of their sons in order to remove dictatorship and terrorism and transform into a free federal democratic system based on on the opinion of the people and the rights of citizens through fair elections and the peaceful exchange of power.

The framework indicated that "the authentic Iraqi people, their honorable clans and their living forces will not allow any prejudice to these constitutional constants by the mass of a single political bloc that does not represent all the Iraqi people." He stressed, "He stands with the people in defending the rights of citizens, the legitimacy of the state, the political process, the constitution and all its legal outcomes, and we defend them with all we can."

He also stressed that "whoever has an opinion or a project to amend the constitution, it is an order available through the constitutional frameworks, and any action otherwise, it crosses all red lines and threatens civil peace and the rule of law and opens the door wide for the corrupt who seized the people's money and looted the state."

Earlier, the "Organizational Committee to support Legitimacy and Preserve State Institutions" called for a demonstration in the vicinity of the Green Zone tomorrow, Monday .

The aforementioned committee emerged after the statement of the coordination framework, which was issued on Saturday, in which he called for taking to the streets.

And a statement by the committee received by "Nass" (July 31, 2022) stated, "We call on our Iraqi people of all stripes and their clan, academic and cultural activities to mobilize to demonstrate peacefully to defend their state, whose pillars have been proven by the blood of thousands of martyrs, in the face of dictatorial tyranny, occupation, sectarianism and ISIS terrorism." And the future of their children, which the Iraqi mobilization and its security forces were keen to guarantee, especially after the recent developments that threaten to plan a suspicious coup, hijack the state, cancel its legitimacy, insult its constitutional institutions, and abolish the democratic process in it.

The statement added, "Our appointment is tomorrow at five in the afternoon on the green walls."

Al-Sadr’s office: The framework does not have a civilian audience, but will use the crowd

The media official of the “Martyr Al-Sadr” office in Najaf governorate, Uday Al-Adari, said that the demonstrations and sit-ins by the followers of the movement have nothing to do with supporting or securing the government of Mustafa Al-Kazemi, and he also reduced concerns about an armed clash with supporters of the coordination framework, as a demonstration is also scheduled to be organized near the green Zone.

Earlier today, Monday, "Sadr Minister" Saleh Muhammad al-Iraqi, called on supporters of the Sadrist movement to demonstrate, all in his governorate, except for Najaf governorate, in conjunction with calls for supporters of the coordination framework to demonstrate on the walls of the Green Zone.

Al-Adari said, "Najaf is a holy and safe city, so there are no demonstrations in it."

He added that "this afternoon's demonstrations will be in the provincial centers, which are in support of the green sit-in, and there is no other sit-in in the governorates."

He added that the talk that the Sadrists' demonstration is to protect Al-Kazemi is "incorrect and baseless."

Regarding the coordination framework demonstration scheduled to start this afternoon as well, and the warnings of a clash between the two sides, Al-Adhari said, “The coordination framework does not have a civilian audience, but will use the popular crowd, so there is no room for any civil war.”

The Iraqi street is awaiting what will happen to the situation in the capital, Baghdad, after counter calls from the leader of the Sadrist movement on the one hand, and the forces of the Shiite coordination framework on the other hand, to demonstrate in front of and inside the green walls.

The dispute is intensifying between the Sadrists, who are holding a sit-in at the Iraqi parliament's headquarters in the Green Zone, and the coordination framework that called on its supporters to demonstrate near it.
