Security coordination between the federal security forces and the forces of the region was also discussed, and the importance of this in continuing to confront the threat of ISIS and other terrorist organizations, and to ensure that they do not threaten the security of Iraqis again.

And the Federal Court considered that a law passed in Kurdistan in 2007 to regulate the oil and gas sector was contrary to the constitution.

Since then, the Iraqi government has been trying to implement this decision.

Based on a lawsuit submitted by the Iraqi Oil Ministry, a court in Baghdad canceled, in early July, four contracts between the Kurdistan Region and Canadian, American, British and Norwegian companies.
