Earth News/ A member of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, Wafaa Muhammad, revealed the   reasons for Masrour Barzani's visit to Baghdad.

Muhammad told Earth News, "Masrour Barzani, President of the Kurdistan Regional Government, visited Baghdad today and will have a very important meeting with Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi."

He added that "the most important related files that will be discussed are the oil and gas file and with separate and other important files, including the Turkish attacks on the Kurdistan region and the region's share of the budget."

And Mohammed said, "Today's meeting will be decisive between the two presidents, especially the oil and gas file."

{Political: Al Furat News} Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi received, today, Saturday, the Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Regional Government, Masrour Barzani, who arrived a short while ago in Baghdad at the head of a government delegation.

Barzani said in a tweet on his Twitter account: "I am happy to return to Baghdad, as we have a lot to discuss, especially the things that unite us and divide us."

He added, "We have a constitutional work program to solve our ongoing problems for 17 years, and solutions that are in the interest of both sides to serve all parts of the country, including the Kurdistan region."

Earlier, a statement by the regional government stated that Barzani will meet with Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi, in addition to a number of senior officials in Baghdad.

The visit aims, according to the statement, to focus on the constitutional solution to the outstanding problems between the Kurdistan region and the federal government, foremost of which is the oil and gas file.

And the media office of the regional government stated in a statement that "Nass" received a copy of it (July 23, 2022), that "Barzani left this afternoon Erbil International Airport heading to Baghdad at the head of a government delegation."

Shafaq News/ The Prime Minister of Kurdistan Regional Government, Masrour Barzani, expressed his happiness to return to Baghdad to discuss everything that unites or differentiates between the federal and regional governments, indicating that there is a work program for a constitutional solution to the problems that have persisted for 17 years.

Barzani wrote a tweet he posted on his Twitter account, and was seen by Shafak News Agency, that "I am happy to return to Baghdad, as there is a lot to discuss, especially the issues that unite and divide the two sides."

He added, "We have a constitutional work program to solve our ongoing problems for 17 years, and solutions that are in the interest of both sides to serve all parts of the country, including the Kurdistan Region."

Erbil (Kurdistan 24) - The Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Regional Government, Masrour Barzani, visited Baghdad today, Saturday, for the second time since taking office three years ago.

The Prime Minister made his first visit to Baghdad in July 2019, that is, a few days after taking the legal oath as head of the cabinet.

Masrour Barzani wrote on his Twitter account, "I am happy to return to Baghdad, as we have a lot to discuss, especially the things that unite and divide us."

He added, "We have a constitutional work program to solve our ongoing problems for 17 years, and solutions that are in the interest of both sides to serve all parts of the country, including the Kurdistan Region."

 

Masrour Barzani arrived in Baghdad this afternoon at the head of a government delegation that included the Acting Minister of Natural Resources, the Minister of Electricity, the Chief of the Cabinet of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers and the Secretary of the Council of Ministers.

SULAIMANI (ESTA) — The Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) Prime Minister Masrour Barzani headed to Baghdad on Saturday to hold talks with high-ranking Iraqi officials, according to a statement released by the KRG.

A high-governmental delegation led by Prime Minister Barzani headed to Baghdad, it intended to hold a meeting with Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa al-Kadhimi, as mentioned in the statement.

KRG’s statement also referred, to Barzani’s visit objective saying, “It aims to discuss the outstanding issues between Erbil and Baghdad in order to find a solution in accordance with the constitution”.

“Oil and Gas issue will be specifically discussed,” it said.

Barzani’s surprise visit to Baghdad coincides with Turkey’s constant attacking of the Kurdistan Region and breaching Iraq’s sovereignty, and also the Iraqi oil Ministry’s fresh attempts to take over the Kurdistan Region’s crude supplies through a legal battle with the Region’s officials.

Today, Saturday, Parliament Speaker Muhammad Al-Halbousi confirmed to the President of the Kurdistan Regional Government, Masrour Barzani, that Parliament is supportive of resolving the outstanding problems between the center and the region.

The media office of the Speaker of the House of Representatives said in a statement received (Al-Oula News), that "the Speaker of Parliament, Muhammad Al-Halbousi, received in Baghdad, the Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Regional Government, Masrour Barzani and his accompanying delegation," noting that "during the meeting, the political situation and the challenges that it faced were discussed." The country is facing, and the Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Region presented a summary of the discussions that took place between the federal and regional government delegations, as well as discussing the file of oil and gas legislation legislation.”

Erbil, Kurdistan Region, Iraq (GOV.KRD)- Prime Minister Masrour Barzani met today, Prime Minister of the Iraqi Federal Government Mustafa Al-Kadhimi in Baghdad.

During the meeting, they discussed all national affairs and issues that concern the lives of Iraqi citizens and the provision of services and ways to continue joint work between Baghdad and Erbil in a way that achieves food security for all Iraqis and ensures a decent life for them.

The two sides expressed their strong condemnation of the Turkish aggressions on Iraqi territory, especially the recent attack that claimed the lives of many innocent citizens. They also stressed the importance of a unified vision to deal with the attack, and investigate its circumstances, in a way that fortifies Iraq's sovereignty and prevents violating it in the future.

Security coordination between the federal security forces and the forces of the Kurdistan region of Iraq was also discussed, as well as the importance of continuing to confront the threat of ISIS and other terrorist organizations, and ensuring that they do not threaten the security of Iraqis again.

The two sides also discussed ways to tackle the effects of the economic challenges suffered by the world and the region and the importance of creating the appropriate atmosphere for economic development. Accordingly, they emphasized the need to strengthen cooperation and joint coordination between the federal government and the regional government to attract investments and maximize revenues.

In this context, it was agreed to increase dialogue between the Federal Ministry of Oil and the Ministry of Natural Resources in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq to address the outstanding issues and continue working to reach common solutions, and achieve a state of integration in the management of the oil resources, in a manner that serves s the interest of the Iraqi people.

The Prime Ministers stressed the importance of working as one team and focusing on common interests in a way that achieves security, stability, and prosperity for all Iraqi people.
