The past week witnessed prominent political, security and local events, as Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi visited the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Iran, at the end of which he revealed the results of the talks.  

  

 

  

Politically: The parties and blocs are still continuing their discussions to get out of the political closure while continuing to put forward political initiatives, at a time when the leader of the Sadrist movement, Muqtada al-Sadr, attacked the President of the Republic for not signing the normalization law, while he later revealed the reasons for his withdrawal from the political process.  

  

Security: The Kormore gas field in Sulaymaniyah witnessed its third attack within a week, while the regional government revealed the results of the investigation and the location of the missile launch, and Erbil Governorate recorded various criminal incidents, most notably the killing of two university professors by a student.  

  

Internationally: Global Health has sounded the alarm about the increase in Corona injuries until the end of the summer, and the Jordanian port of Aqaba witnessed a large explosion due to a gas leak, while Tehran welcomed the dialogue with Saudi Arabia, stressing that it serves the interest of all countries in the region.  

  

Mathematically: The Gulf Federation voted unanimously to host Basra for Gulf 25, and Manchester United renewed the contract of Iraqi player Zidan Iqbal until 2025.
