The Parliamentary Finance Committee praised the Central Bank’s move to establish a platform for letters of guarantee that eliminated fake projects in the government.

A member of the committee, Jamal Cougar, told "Economy News", "The establishment of a platform for letters of guarantee is a very important step that leads to the reduction of fictitious projects."

He added that "the Iraqi state was suffering from phantom projects due to rampant corruption, but the platform for letters of guarantee created by the Central Bank is very important to reduce that."

Germany was decimated by the time they finally surrendered in 1945. June 20, 1948 currency reform had been established and the Deutschemark was the NEW currency of W. Germany.

Yes I know objections can obviously be made here. My point is look at the insanity & greed taking place in Iraq. So much potential and look what 19 years has produced!!!! Criminal politicians so imbedded into the system it just stagnant.

A disgusting spectacle of greed, tribal infighting, Iranian meddling and all the rest I need not go into because we're all too painfully aware of this hot mess.

Germany plunged an entire world into a nightmare, razed to the ground by the Allies then in just a few short years currency reform. 

A horrible state of affairs for a country that should be blowing & going and prosperous... it's only going to take a soft nudge to push Iraq into freefall, into the Abyss.
