Iraq Liquid Natural Gas is going global.

Treat as a rumor.  Not verified.  Your opine.

Bond Lady's Corner:

Article: For the first time in the history of Iraq, Basra exports the first shipment of semi-cooled gas through it's Umm Qasr port.  It's a great achievement for the Basra Gas Company & for Iraq, where we are , today.  This step gives us the opportunity to export natural gas, globally via tankers.  The first shipment is EU bound.

The big question is How did Iraq get paid? in USD or IQD? And what rate did they use? Still 1,460?

Iraq is the only OPEC nation still on the PetroDollar as far as I know.

Iraq will continue to use the USD until their own currency is accepted by the people or it revalues.

CBI is building up it's foreign reserves by nearly $2 Billopn a month & it's oil sales by nearly $3 Billion a month.

This is not good for us investors.  Iraq can hold off the RV indefinitely with all this new wealth coming in.  IMO.

Exactly. When the dinar becomes stronger one day, then the iraqi will start using IQD instead of USD.

“The issue of creating an international reserve currency based on a basket of currencies of our countries is being worked out,” he said at the BRICS business forum.

According to the Russian president, the member states are also developing reliable alternative mechanisms for international payments.

Yep. I saw it before. And sri lanka also announced about to go bankrupt because of a huge debt. Hopefully, Iraq isn't one of them.
