*** Breitling  Question: "In general what are we now waiting for?  What does Iraq need to do for them to add value to their currency?" They are simply watching the markets. They don't need to do anything. There's no technical thing that they need to do...Iraq is going to have to sit there and watch the energy markets, see who goes where. [Post 1 of 2....stay tuned]

 

***  Breitling  Their markets can expand if they expand to China...Guess what Iraq wants to do?  They will want China to trade in their own currency and so they have to have the currency up and going to be able to do that.  That's the kind of stuff they're looking at.  That's why it's kind of hard to predict the day when they're going to do this.  But at the same time everybody knows they're going to do it. [Post 2 of 2]

 

** Mark  I’m really feeling it this week…but...nobody knows the timing…but there is a tremendous amount of things coming together right now... We heard a lot of positive news from Iraq on the government over the weekend. The kurds are now saying yes to the Kazemi government. That is an enormous hurdle.

 

*** Tivon  Al-Kazemi said last April, for the political forces to vote on the food security law without emptying it of its content in order to serve citizens, as it is a "very important" law, indicating that "the goal of the law is to provide the necessary protection for the Iraqi people." Ask yourself what can protect the citizens? Purchasing Power? That comes from what? The HCL/Oil & Gas. Guess what was brought up earlier this week by Al-Sadr during the session that was adjourned? Citizen Entitlements.
 

 

*** Pimpy  Article: "The Kurds: Yes, to the Al-Kazemi government"  Love this article...they are going to go ahead and make a push for a vote of confidence for Al-Kazemi to continue.  I like the idea and I hope it passes.

Al Kazemi will still be a caretaker government.  Will it have the authority to enact new laws?
