In response to the phone call he received from Al-Kazemi, the Iranian president "expressed his pleasure at the growing process of advancing the renaissance of the Iraqi people, as well as the interaction between political groups and currents to form the new government in Iraq."
He said, "The approval of the law criminalizing normalization with the Zionist entity in the Iraqi parliament was a blessed step."
The Iranian president referred to the problems caused by dust storms and their sweeping of the cities of Iran and Iraq, and said: "Climate changes are not limited to a particular country, but rather cross borders," noting that
Raisi considered the development of transportation lines between the two countries that it would lead to growth, economic prosperity and stability in the region, stressing the need to expedite the operational operations of the railways.
The Iranian president indicated that the ceremony of the Arbaeen al-Husseini procession is imminent, calling for facilitating the ground for the participation of Iranian pilgrims in this field.
For his part, Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi indicated during the phone call to the Iranian President’s praise of the Iraqi parliament’s decision to criminalize normalization with the Zionist entity, and said: “Palestine is not the issue of Muslims only, but it is the cause of all advocates of justice in the world, and that the Iraqi government and parliament have taken a number of decisions and steps in The context of supporting the Palestinian people.”
In another aspect of his speech, Al-Kazemi confirmed that he will seriously pursue the issue of removing obstacles that hinder the speedy implementation of the “Basra-Shalamjah” railway.
He referred to his meeting (yesterday) on Sunday, the Assistant to the President of the Republic, head of the Iranian Environmental Conservation Organization, Ali Seljuq, and said: It was decided during the talks that took place between Ali Seljuq and Iraqi officials to continue cooperation to combat the problem of dust storms within the framework of a memorandum of understanding between the two sides.
