"NASA" determines when the planet will run out of oxygen... Is there time?

Baghdad - people

There is no life without oxygen. This equation applies to all living things, especially humans.

When can oxygen disappear? Fortunately there is plenty of time until the planet runs out of oxygen; According to NASA, it will take another billion years for this to happen, according to the website of the German newspaper Merkur.

Global warming will be responsible for the absence of life on Earth. A few degrees Celsius increase in the temperature of the planet will lead to the almost complete disappearance of oxygen. Then the oxygen content in the atmosphere will drop to one millionth of the current level. And it will become impossible for the photosynthesis to take place in plants. At the same time, methane in the atmosphere will increase by 10,000 times, according to researchers from the United States and Japan.

The ozone layer will be completely decomposed by the intense solar rays, which means leaving animals, plants and humans exposed to ultraviolet rays and scorching sunlight. Life in water, on land, and in the air would end, leaving only anaerobic (that do not need oxygen) life forms and primitive bacteria living in the shade.

All we can do is wait and see.lol

Or the government officials can tax and collect a lot of money for a big project for a oxygen generator on our planet like they did Mars except, or global warming and in our case the government officials would have spent all the money and not on the oxygen generator. Ohhh we are all going to be disappointed when that day comes…….duh, why no oxygen ugh,

Google celebrates Earth Day with "painful" photos about the impact of climate change

Baghdad - people

The search engine “Google” celebrated, on Friday, the International Earth Day, which falls on April 22 of each year; Where he posted on his homepage a set of pictures.

And Google changed its famous main interface, with successive images showing the impact of climate change on the planet, by monitoring the developments that occurred in a specific spot during the period from 1986 to 2020, where the shape of the cover that covers that spot changed during that period.

This year, Earth Day raises the slogan “Invest in Our Planet” with the aim of stimulating international efforts to confront the negative impacts of climate change on the planet, work to find faster solutions to combat climate change and encourage everyone - from governments to individuals and companies - to play their roles, and recognize the responsibility Everyone is helping to accelerate the transition towards a green economy.

Earth Day is a global occasion to stimulate international efforts to confront the challenges of climate change that the world is witnessing and its negative consequences represented in the threat to biodiversity, air and ocean pollution, rising temperatures, floods and other manifestations.

Global concern is growing about the consequences of biodiversity loss. According to United Nations estimates, the world loses about 4.7 million hectares of forests annually, while the number of animal and plant species currently threatened with extinction is estimated at one million.

The Earth's temperature continues to rise, as the past three years were the warmest on record, while concentrations of major greenhouse gases continue to increase, while the oceans suffer from acidification and deoxygenation, which greatly affects marine life, especially fisheries.

Earth Day is an annual event celebrated around the world on April 22 of each year, to show support for the protection of the environment. It was celebrated for the first time in 1970, and it includes several events organized by the Earth Day Network around the world.

April 22 was chosen as the International Earth Day, because it represents spring in the northern hemisphere and autumn in the southern hemisphere.

Anyone can participate in the revival of Earth Day, by planting plants and trees, turning off the lights before leaving anywhere, cycling or walking away from cars, and not overwatering.
