DWS112
Revealing A New Scenario In Light Of The Continuing Political Impasse 10/04/2022 An informed political source revealed, today, Sunday, a new scenario in light of the continuing political blockage and during the next stage, and the inability of all parties to proceed with the formation of the new Iraqi government. The source told "Earth News", "The tripartite alliance has an intention and an idea to keep the government of Mustafa Al-Kazemi, with a comprehensive cabinet reshuffle, in the event that the political blockage continues, and the failure of the National Salvation Alliance continues to hold a session with a full quorum to elect the new president of the republic." And the source indicated that "this option is strongly rejected by the Shiite coordination framework, and it may be addressed by the Federal Supreme Court, since such a procedure does not have any constitutional cover," noting that "the tripartite alliance is working to find a parliamentary resolution formula to support such steps." 3 1
DWS112
4 Scenarios That Al-Arbawi Reviews For The Current Situation..Al-Kazemi's Government Remains The Closest Option! 4/15/2022 The head of the Awareness Movement, Salah Al-Arbawi, presented today, Friday, four scenarios regarding the current political crisis. Al-Arbawi (April 15, 2022) expected that the current government would be maintained, as it is the most consistent with the current situation and the most realistic solution, and he also pointed to the possibility of going to early elections. Here is the text of the four scenarios: First - Early elections: This requires the dissolution of the House of Representatives, and this is possible with difficulty, but it collides with (the failure to amend the election law as indicated by the court, the lack of readiness of the commission, the people's reluctance to participate). Second - A new consensual government: Regardless of the form and appearance of consensus, this is possible, but it collides with al-Sadr's desire to take the entire Shiite share and exclude his opponents. Back to square one and the loss of responsibility. Third - A national majority government: Majorities are three (Al-Maliki’s majority in 2010 (political), Al-Hakim’s majority in 2014 is nationalistic in which the Shiites are half plus one), Al-Sadr’s majority 2021 is national, and the majority of the three leaders. Regarding the national majority government, Al-Arbawi said that it is “difficult, but not impossible, collides with the framework third, and clarifies responsibility on the one hand, but creates turmoil on the other.” Fourth - Maintaining the old consensual government: This means keeping the 2018 ruling equation in place (Al-Fateh - Sairoon) and keeping the current presidencies (Al-Halbousi, Saleh, Al-Kazemi) while making ministerial adjustments according to the new electoral volumes. Al-Arbawi considered that "the last scenario is the most realistic solution and in harmony with the current circumstance. Its defects are the same as those of previous consensual governments." Al-Daami told Earth News, "The constitution has become a thing of the past. What exists is political norms and political consensus that transcend the provisions of the constitution," noting that "the constitutional terms were violated, and now the agreement, consensus, or convention between the political parties and political blocs is what is waiting." He added, "Whenever the political blocs agree on their controversial interests now, there may be a return to the constitutional terms, but in general the constitution has become a thing of the past, especially after exceeding the constitutional terms and several violations. This is not the first violation. These violations began in 2010 and did not end and continue, and unfortunately not There is a deterrent to such violations.” He continued, "It is surprising that the House of Representatives, which is supposed to be conservative and more conservative, is the one who violates the constitution as political blocs that did not preserve the jus cogens provisions of the constitution, and political norms became the ones that transcend and therefore we wait for political agreements and consensus until we can return to the The constitution is according to political whims. The political process has witnessed, since the beginning of this year, a state of political impasse due to the lack of agreement between the political parties on a specific mechanism for forming a government. DWS112
The Coordinating Framework Announces Its Position On Maintaining The Al-Kazemi Government 4/16/2022 The coordination framework spoke today, Saturday, about the possibility of maintaining the Al-Kazemi government with a cabinet reshuffle, in the event that the political blockage remains unresolved. The leader in the framework, Ali Al-Fatlawi, told "Earth News", "There are political parties working to maintain Al-Kazemi's government with a cabinet reshuffle, but this matter has not and will not be accepted at all. During the last period". Al-Fatlawi indicated that “the survival of the Al-Kazemi government with a cabinet reshuffle, means the acquisition of specific political parties over the state, and Al-Kazemi is ready to hand over any political party to the entire state, in the event that he remains in his position during the coming period, but this matter cannot be accepted by the political forces and popular bases.” “.

Every election cycle seems to get worse ( as if such a thing is possible: yet here they are ). Pretty lousy when elected officials are giving everyone the middle finger, in your face to heck with you we're in charge & don't give a tinkers damn what you think. Um, yeah I was referring to Iraq but it pretty much fits here as well, huh.
