Deputy: Raising The Dollar Exchange Rate Exhausted The Iraqi People, And There Are No Signs Of Treatment

Information / Member of Parliament Daoud Al-Eidan confirmed, on Saturday, that the continuation of raising the exchange rate of the dollar against the Iraqi dinar has burdened citizens, in addition to the crisis of rising prices of basic commodities, stressing that there are no signs of returning the exchange rate to its previous era.

Al-Aidan said in a statement to “The Information”, that “raising the dollar exchange rate was a wrong decision and exhausted citizens and burdened them with increases at all prices.

He added that “the exchange rate negatively affected the level of Iraqi per capita income, especially those with limited income.”

He explained that “the decision to raise the exchange rate of the dollar was taken in order to exhaust the Iraqi people and damage their purchasing power,” and indicated that “there is no intention of the government to reverse the decision to return the dollar exchange rate to its previous era.”

State of Law MP Muhammad al-Shammari accused the government of shirking its responsibilities towards citizens, stressing that the government is unable to rein in the price hike.

The Other articles before, they said they wanted to return to the previous rate 1,200. on the other hand, in this article, they said that they didn't have intention to return to previous era. Why would they say something like that? Were they confused to make the right decision for the sake of iraqi citizens? Or were they trying to distract and confuse both the iraqi citizens and dinar investors? Or were the iraqi high rank officials (?) Bribe the Iraqi editor/reporter to make up the conflicting stories to confuse the readers on purpose? Cause we all have been seeing and reading these kind of conflicting articles many times before. So this conflicting articles aren't a new tactic game that iraqi haven't been playing before to confuse the readers.

The only comparison is possibly the mentality. Nothing was inferred or compared to the actual situation.  It's obviously different.

Kinda like-  Duck Season / Rabbit Season which Daffy & Bugs went round & round on until Bugs faked moving the sign towards Daffy ( to say Duck Seat ), left it still pointing in his direction saying  " Rabbit Season " upon which Daffy grabbing the sign pointing the sign on himself yelled " Duck Season,FIRE " _ blasting his beak off.

I'm sure there's an existential point to be made here, right of I haven't a clue: however, it's a classic Bugs/ Daffy moment
