The Ministry of Oil addressed the joint operations, on Tuesday, to implement an arrest warrant against a member of the Iraqi parliament.  

  

 

And the Ministry of Oil stated in a statement that “People” received a copy of it (March 8, 2022), that “the legal department in the Ministry of Oil approached the Joint Operations Command, to implement the arrest and investigation order against the fugitive accused (Zahra Hamza Ali Al-Bajari) issued by the Federal Integrity Commission / Department investigations, and about the presidency of the Basra Federal Appeal Court / the Court of Investigation specialized in integrity issues in accordance with the provisions of Article (248) q.o.p.   

  

The ministry statement added, "An official source said: The fugitive accused Zahra Al-Bajari has committed acts of deception and blatant extortion against the Basra Oil Company for personal goals and narrow interests, taking advantage of her parliamentary position at times or sheltering some political figures as a cover to implement her goals by exploiting her in blackmail and misinformation to work The company and the deliberate abuse of its business, projects and officials, which caused direct and indirect damage to a number of important projects in the energy sector, disrupting and delaying their implementation, as well as harming the investment environment in the Basra Oil Company.   

  

  

The ministry also called on the security authorities and judicial police in all constitutional institutions to “implement the judicial order for the purpose of achieving justice and stopping the chain of demolition and sabotage resulting from extortion and falsification of facts,” praising “the courageous national decisions of the esteemed judiciary that aim to protect citizens and public interests, and to put an end to cases of Extortion practiced by some individuals among those who are affiliated with the political class or the distinguished Parliament.

Shafaq News/ The Ministry of Oil announced, on Tuesday, that it had approached the Joint Operations Command (the highest authority in the Iraqi army) to arrest a member of Parliament from the "Al-Fateh" coalition (Zahra Hamza Ali Al-Bajari) based on an arrest and investigation warrant issued against her by the Integrity and Judiciary Commission. .

The ministry said in a statement today, "The Legal Department of the Ministry of Oil approached the Joint Operations Command, to implement the arrest and investigation order against the fleeing accused (Zahra Hamza Ali Al-Bajari), issued by the Federal Integrity Commission / Investigation Department, and the presidency of the Basra Federal Appeal Court / the competent investigation court. issues of integrity in accordance with the provisions of Article (248) q.o.p.
