Overthrowing 3 networks trading counterfeit currency in three governorates

On Sunday, the Security Media Cell announced the arrest of 12 people accused of trading counterfeit currencies in the governorates of Baghdad, Wasit and Dhi Qar.  

  

  

The cell said in a statement that “Nass” received a copy of it, (March 6, 2022), that “after receiving accurate information about the spread of counterfeit currency in the markets of some governorates, the National Security Service detachments began to intensify their field effort, and after obtaining judicial approvals, they were able to dismantle a network of trade The counterfeit currency consisted of (5) individuals in the capital, Baghdad, in flagrante delicto, and they were seized in their possession (15) million counterfeit Iraqi dinars and light weapons.  

  

And she added, "On a related level, the device's detachments in Wasit Governorate arrested a gang consisting of (3) individuals who were selling counterfeit currencies in a tight ambush, following the issuance of arrest warrants against them, and they were seized with (25) million counterfeit dinars and an unlicensed firearm."  

  

And she continued, "The device's detachments in Dhi Qar governorate were able to arrest (4) suspects promoting counterfeit currency in separate areas of the governorate, with about (10) thousand counterfeit dollars and about (one million) fake dinars as well, and a quantity of crystal material estimated at ( 250) A person accused of drug trafficking.  

  

At the conclusion of its statement, the cell indicated that "the statements of all the accused were written down and referred, along with the seizures, to the competent legal authorities to take the necessary measures against them."

The National Security Agency arrested a number of people accused of trading in counterfeit currencies in Baghdad, Wasit and Dhi Qar. 

The Security Media Cell stated in a statement that, after receiving accurate information about the spread of counterfeit currency in the markets of some governorates, the National Security Service detachments began to intensify their field effort, and after obtaining judicial approvals, they were able to dismantle a network of counterfeit currency trading consisting of (5) individuals in the capital, Baghdad. In flagrante delicto, 15 million counterfeit Iraqi dinars and light weapons were seized from their possession. 

And on a related level, the device's detachments in Wasit Governorate arrested a gang consisting of (3) individuals who were selling counterfeit currencies in a tight ambush, following the issuance of arrest warrants against them, and they were seized with (25) million counterfeit dinars and an unlicensed firearm.

In the same context, the detachments of the device in Dhi Qar governorate were able to arrest (4) suspects promoting counterfeit currency in separate areas of the governorate, with about (10) thousand fake dollars and about (one million) fake dinars as well, and a quantity of crystal material estimated at (250) ) Gloom with one of the defendants wanted in drug trafficking cases. 

The statement indicated that the statements of all the accused were recorded and referred, along with the seizures, to the competent legal authorities to take the necessary measures against them.

Just wonder, why would they make and sell a counterfeit Iraq dinar? It is still a worthless currency and toilet paper until now, unless the counterfeiters know something from someone(?) in high ranking iraqi official that IQD is 100% surely going to rv by the end of 2022. Why didn't the counterfeiters just make and sell a counterfeit Kuwaiti dinar instead of IQD? Cause Kuwaiti dinar is the highest currency in the world at this time.
