{Political: Al-Furat News} The President of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, Massoud Barzani, discussed today, Wednesday, the developments of the political process with the representative of the Secretary-General of the United Nations in Iraq, Jenin Plasshart, in Erbil.

A statement by Barzani's office said that visions were exchanged on the latest developments in the political process in Iraq and the constitutional steps in forming the new government and appropriate solutions to pass the political process in the country.

He also discussed in the meeting the problems of the region and Baghdad, coordination and joint action between the regional government and the Iraqi government, and a reference to the role of the United Nations in this regard.

The political situation and the latest developments in the region and the world were also discussed.
