Can they stop the rise

It would seem to me that Iraq would be unable to stop the appreciation of their currency if it goes on the international market. Of course they are putting out the negative news about an ri/rv but they also want to be an international participant. Since this has all been speculation we will soon find out the true value of the Dinar.

Good Point, but Iraq is so undervalued, that even if they manipulate it to keep it low, it should move up quite a bit.  Plus, they want to get the dollar off the street, so they would have to value it at a little over a $1.00.  At least it seems reasonable to me.

Different scenario with Iraq.  We didn’t invade China to reval their currency.

China & Russia can crash the USD.  The USD is still a Fiat currency backed up by thin air.

China Yuan & Russia Ruble are gold backed.  They have all the Aces.
