Al-Jabri told the Iraqi News Agency (INA), "There are a number of laws awaiting approval and legislation in the current parliamentary session, especially with regard to the draft oil and gas law, as the project is one of the important projects that regulate the relationship between the region and the oil-producing provinces." He pointed out that "this file caused many political crises between the central government and the regional government, in addition to causing great injustice to the oil-producing provinces," stressing that "many laws were put forward in this regard." He explained, "The current bills' amendment projects will be included in the agenda of the sessions, especially the law that deals with governorates that are not organized in a region," noting that "steps have begun to unify the front of the independents in the political process under a banner and one bloc, and awaiting parliament sessions." He stressed, "All independent and non-independent deputies are determined to regulate the process of exchanging the dollar against the dinar," noting that "the issue of reducing the dollar is on the table during the current session." He pointed out that "the independent parliamentary committees will have a real presence, and the independent forces are new within the political process and are working to correct some tracks and represent them in the parliamentary committees in a strong representation in form and content."
